  • I'm re-watching all these to see which I remember the meaning of. From this video, I have forgotten soporific.

  • @fredrikpedersen It's also the only word I haven't put to use.

  • MrGoLuckyFish I saw your comment in a,dsp vid im a big,fan of dsp

  • The first time I heard nadir was when I was a kid, reading the lyrics to Metallica's song "The Shortest Straw" on ...And Justice For All. It has since been a favorite of mine as well!

  • I like your shirt! Pink Floyd are awesome!

  • I got 4 more words to describe this wonderful western culture of ours as well:

Asshat: Means an idiot. Ex: John McCain is a total asshat to think we need to stay in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Osculate: Means to kiss. Ex: Fred Phelps Roper osculates the old testament bibles' ass all day.

Gargantuan: Literally means very big or gigantic. Ex: Fred Phelps is a gargantuan idiot.

Cadre: Communists who spend their freetime organizing a mass revolutionary party. Ex: Our government is a cadre of nazis.

  • I said soporific to my teacher when he was giving me a lecture and he was like "what?' then I said "I can see why you're not a English teacher."

  • i just seen your video john lol jk

  • My biology class used to be full of fucking morons. 'Miss, I drawed the diagram, what now?'

  • Love the Pink Floyd shirt. They rule, but i guess I don't beed to tell you that.

Anyhoo... as a big-word fan myself (not that you would know from my own soporific videos), I try to use such large or "advanced" words in my everyday verbal adventures, and I guess I can now arm myself with three more.

Keep up the good work, your videos are the opposing force to the definition of "soporific."

  • Thank you for teaching me new words. Im going to use these when I argue with the retards I encounter on a day to day basis

  • I watch shane dawson, raywilliam johnson and you.

  • @KenerdG13 That's kind of lame.

  • The majority of people I know (not necessarily friends with them) would fall asleep, watching this video. Maybe that one kid who steals audio can steal the audio of this video and make a puppet show for it. I don't know, great video, though. I've just learned a new word (already knew "soporific" and "nadir"), so thanks for posting this video.

  • I love hyperbole. I use it a thousand times a week.

  • @darkmindedsith Clever. Your comment in itself, is a hyperbole.

  • @furryhater666

    -wink wink-

Props to you for getting it. ;)

  • correction, she sucks it 4 times a day

  • No wonder she was called I-Justine!

  • Well, I learned something today. Thanks again, John.

  • The ineptitude of the Irate Gamer causes massive soporific tendencies due to the nadir knowledge he posses within his stupid jerk-face head.

    How did I do?

  • @TheArchfiend You get a gold star for the week, and a turkey sandwich.

  • @undertakerfreak1127

    Thanks.

Not to show off but, I hope you don't mind that I added some of my own advanced vocabulary in my comment. In case you and your viewers don't understand; the term "jerk-face" means... hmm... Well shit. It's not in the dictionary. I think it means like dumb and stuff. Something like that.

  • @TheArchfiend I think "jerk-face" is loosely derived from an old Latin word meaning "doody head."

  • I'm surprised that one of those words isn't "ineptitude." :]

  • This is a good series. Keep those words coming because my vocab sucks.

  • I feel good ruining someones stupid ass "first" comment.

  • @lootplx Thank you sir.

  • @undertakerfreak1127 Anyways, great and informative video. Do more of these!
