  • 2:16 LOL

  • i like BOB :D

  • im into drafting class when i was highschool and i experienced printing shirts on printscreen..it was a very fun experience.

  • nice one... i thought its gonna be that simple cause it says homemade screen stretching, but it turned out that i have to run to the hardware to buy those stuffs.. hehe.. anyways.. will try your tips one of these days... great video... keep it up... :)

  • ty

  • Hey what kind of socks are you wearing? Hanes? I wanna get some. Let me know asap cuz I really need some socks. Thanks.

  • lol

  • This is great to show someone wish to do his own, thumbs up! ;-)

  • don't do it this way, it is way to expensive and complicated. just get freezer paper and cut it to the size of printer paper, then print on it your t-shirt design and cut it out with a razor. iron it to your shirt (freezer paper has meltable plastic coating, it will stick) and spray paint it, and there you are. for multiple colors do multiple layers on the shirt with different papers. i can make several wicked awesome and high detail shirts in an hour.

  • thank you kurniawandennis!!

    and thank you bob xD

  • bob flew!

    o}:

  • Amazon. What sizes do you use? I only do small. 12 x 14. 9.99

and It is plenty big enough for T shirts. The next size up is 16 x 20. I think the maker is Speedball.

  • OMFG are you kidding me? I bought a stretcher for 9.99 and it is one piece. This is ridiculous.

  • @djpuppy28 Where?

  • where did you buy the screen?

  • this was a very clever way. Thank you for sharing this. Best wishes.

  • you made this process way harder than it has to be!!!!!!!

  • homemade? oh, sure, mom has all of those stuff in the kitchen

  • so....how much does all this cost +/- ?

    -Thanks

  • At least mention the names of the hardware you used. It is easier for us to buy them then

  • So after you've stretched the screen. When exactly do you apply the glue? Or more over, what is the process on which you get the fabric to stick? Do you just apply the glue and then press down?

  • poor bob

  • bob

  • LMFAO at 2:18

  • are you a mute !! talk say something

  • I've made a version of this that enables you not to have to use furniture to weigh the stretchers down. You need two more turnbuckles, two lengths of chain and four more hooks. I'll upload a vid if that'd help?

  • @CecilyHeron hi! I'd love for you to show me this other version. I have to custom make some frames for printing skateboards. Please help ;)

  • @Dubking09 I'll upload a vid today. :)

  • hahaha, i loved bob!

  • Very helpful video, ingenious solution, I've really been struggling to stretch screens, now it seems achievable!

  • You make life look so hard

  • great idea and it is very portable and easily adjusted to different size frames good for home diy people who don't have space and setup large machines... :) Thanks for the posting

  • Nice ;)......I would like to see you use it on a shirt!

  • Oh perfect !!!

I was looking for this for ages. I don't want to pay 500 Euros for a screenstretcher, so this solution is perfect. A BIG THANK YOU to kurniawandennis.

  • Bouncing Bob. Gosh, for a moment I thought you were going to raise the 1 x 4's, clamp the screen, and push the 1 x 4's back down, giving you instant (look ma, no turnbuckles) tension, and then say, "It's a snap!" :*)

  • Asian wives waiting **busizz4me.info**

  • thank you good sir

  • This is very impressive! I'm all about DIY. Thanks for posting. Has this worked with thin mesh, such as 305?

  • would this work with bigger frames ?

  • Comment removed

  • why everything its called bob???

my friend bought a sunflower and call it bob, my ex gf had a cocroch and called it bob aswell :)

i want to be called bob too now.

  • cool guy, very inventive! lol What would ya do with out bob lmao

  • hey thanks but quite time consuming compared to buying a ready-made one which would cause me a dollar or two only. :)

  • too many steps...too many tools....! ...its just so crafty.

...i got better and easy way for this....i'll share it soon! hehe

  • Thank you for making this film. I have been limping my screen along because I didn't want to buy a screen stretcher. (It's expensive and would not look good in my duck-tape and 2X4 print shop.)

  • WHAT IS THAT 0;16 PLEASE AND THANK YOU

  • @FIRMESTREETWEAR Hook & Eye turnbuckles

  • Does anyone know how much tension can this system gives?

I need to stretch a polyester monofilament fabric (Smartmesh-P 380M) with tensions of 20~25N/cm

  • BOb come back here!

  • you made me laugh... you dont talk, in the last part you just laugh silently... hahaha funny , but its nice tho.. great job.

  • Nice, but next time try talking. It helps us out alot.

  • What is the diferense betwen yellow and white mesh?

  • hey the link to the instructions do not work can u please send them to me thanksss..

  • hey, can you put a full items needed list on the coment bar. i dont know what the clothing hangers are

  • its cool, but kinda equipment intensive, no? any reason why someone couldnt just pull it tight and staple?

  • all u need to do is staple and pull not so hard this just takes all day to do

  • MUITO BOM,

    VERY GREAT .

    I LIKE THIS ;

I made my screen by Hand, ;D

    now , i have a other solution ;

    THANKS

  • Thats a pretty cool home made stretcher! Check out my videos for tutorials on screen printing and heat transferring tee shirts. Questions welcome.

  • The link doesn't work, can you list the materials on here?

  • I like it!

  • Is really good! congratulations! that i need for save money and time, do you know the name of the pieces special for stretching not the red pieces.. can i buy at home depot this metal pieces? but i don't know the name.

Thank you for your great video!

  • thats great after you stretch the mesh wat do u use to get the screen and the frame to stick?? glue?? staples?

  • i use a really strong glue i think its Instant bonding glue the label is in chinese so i dont understand. any strong glue should work.. i use a toothbrush to apply. its yellow and thick and really smelly. have you heard of uhu? i think it should work.

  • I like it. I make all my screen printing tools. I just don't see the need to spend all that money when you can build it yourself.

Great idea! You just saved me $365 plus shipping from Canada because I was about to by a screen stretcher.

  • Thanks. and youre welcome.

  • @pakt40 yup you gotta go DIY. built my own exposure unit, drying racks and stretcher. mounted the stretcher to the wall in my studio. it takes up almost no room. just used some aluminum brackets i got at the hardware store and cut the 2x4s so i would be mounting into a stud.
