If your buddy is buried by an avalanche, dont pull him out of the snow like a rag-doll as shown at 0:22. Instead, handle him like you would handle a rotten egg. He might be both injured and hypotherm. Secure free airways, cover him in blankets, and let him stay in the protective snowcave until you have planned and prepared his evacuation.
