I really want to love this band...i just cant get past the horrible filter over their tracks. I get the gritty retro-sound, but clean it up a bit. Sounds like they recorded and released it on 60's-70's acetate.
@TheAk4107 as a recording engineer i think this album is sonically one of the best of 2011. Official tracks sound way better than youtube videos. especially on nice speakers. Its a great example of old meets new. Old school recording techniques like using tape and distorted signals, mashed with modern styles of compression and spacing. This album is brilliantly mixed. kudos to the engineer.
Holy shit that part at 2.23 is cool as fuck

This has got to be THE best song produced that I've heard in the past 10 or so years! =O

Love this song, and also watched them perform last night.
One thing though, this video is great, but too alike to a crystal stilts video. The song is called "Love is a wave" by the Crystal stilts.

awesome song, but I the video is too much alike to a Crystal stilts video I had seen before.
the song is called "love is a wave" that blonde chick come out at right at the end of the Crystal stilts video.
I still like this video though :)

This is a rad track!! I remember my mum being a fan of that vinyl stick on stuff. All my school books and folders covered in it!
