  • This is nice

where can I buy your CDs I wish they will be available in the RP..

  • we would also like to see you while playing. It really helps me with my playing. thanks.

  • Oh, I once started practicing this piece, without actually having heard someone play it. Nice to hear a different (and a good deal more professional) take on it than mine. Especially nice to hear that the interpretation wasn't too far from what I had in mind :-)

  • Oh my... still love this one! I think it has to be in my top 3 that you do!

  • Comment removed

  • its good to know that this your favorite Tarrega piece too...this interpretation actually inspired me to learn, its one of the best ive heard

  • Incredible Per *-* yeah this is my favorite francisco tarrega song too :D

I'll keep working hard on this song to make so perfect like you did here ^_^

You know for me you're like a god and father of guitar Per!

  • Awesome......!

  • You have a strong feel of rythm, tempo and the sense of how it should sound! Great musician. Also, good acoustics!

  • since I heard of this for the first time yesterday, it's been added to my favorites....

  • Thanks for adding it to your favs..

    Please keep listening to me.

    Kind regards,

    Per-Olov

  • Very amazing performance, of technic and sentiment. Thank you.

  • Thanks! I an happy you like my version.

    Kind regards,

    Per-Olov

  • I would like to buy your cd with this interpretation. Is possible?

    Thanks.

    Best regards.

  • Hi! I haven't recorded this on a CD yet. I will soon have this on my web shop for download. Please go to per-olovkindgren. com

    Per-Olov

  • @AndanteLargo I just visited the website but cant seem to find the download for this song. any help would be appreciated

  • definitely the best interpretation of Capricho Arabe i've ever heard

    Congratulations

  • Thank you! I am honored! I love this piece too.

    Kindly,

    Per-Olov

  • After listening to various interpretations, I think this one must be my favorite. It even beats the Bream one in my opinion :) Keep up the great work;)

  • Tarrega was is so good......

  • I have no idea what you were thinking of while playing this and what emotion you were trying to convey but the tears in my eyes are a proof that you did convey a feeling. Good for you to play with feeling instead of showing off like others do. Now if you'll excuse me I need to go redo my mascara. :P

  • Hi there... again. I am honored you listen to me.

This is one of the most beautiful pieces written for the guitar, I think. I try to make it sound like that too. :) I am honored you like it!

Does it hurt to get mascara in the eyes?

    Per-Olov

  • oh, i better get used to it if i am tot listen to your other pieces,

  • Excellent! I listen your songs with my soul, not ears... Congratulation. And this video show me how beauty it's Denmark. I hope someday i meet this wonderful place.

  • wow , simply amazing

  • every time my heart is troubled, i listen to your music...... it soothes my senses.

    thank you, Mr. Kindgren.

  • I HATE YOUUU!!! can you understand why? : )

  • Hi there Veronica. No! Why? Am I ruining your day? :-))

    Thanks for listening to me.

    Per

  • YES!

    you're so clever..so i'm envious! : )

  • I lived in Sweden four years and seeing this with the music brings tears to my eyes. So beautiful, both the music and the nature. Thank you.

  • I think number one, this is the pinnacle of all your efforts on Youtube - your artistic finesse and expertise are on full aural and visual display.

And secondly, I also believe this is the best interpretation of Capricho Arabe I have ever heard. It sounds like you've been playing it for many years and it has aged as gracefully as fine wine.

This is truly something to be proud of, Per-Olov. Thank you for doing what you do!

    --Chris

  • simply beautiful...

  • Your guitar sounds beautiful. This is better than other versions I have heard.

  • this is the music of the angels

may i recomend you posting a video on Choro-Mazurka by Heitor Villa-Lobos

    thanks

  • A perfect style , thank you for sharing this lovely video of yours...Especially legatos are excellently well-played..

May i learn which guitar you use?

  • Fantastic. This is the best Capricho on tube. Well done. I wish you could remake a video recording. Thank you

  • Really well performed, but I think some of the higher notes were a little quiet. Regardless, it was gorgeous.

  • I love Tarrega! Thank you so much.. I know you probably get this alot, but do you have any plans to make a youtube video of recuerdos de la alhambra?

Thanks again, you are a very inspiring guitar player!

  • @JmJones2 He's said elsewhere that, since he had to work on recuerdos so much as a student, he's just bored with it now. Maybe in a few years, he said.

...but he said that a few years ago!

  • Hi! I am sorry. I more often get the comment I play too slow! And now you think I play too fast... :) I love J.B. too and have all his records. I don't thinkit's such a big difference. Do you? I will try to be more carefull with the tempo from now on though.

    Thanks for the input.

    Per-Olov

  • Peo, you are so modest and thoughtful. I really appreciate the number of times you respond in person to people's comments, even when they are not wholly complimentary.

In my (humble) opinion, many players play too fast: technically superb, but sometimes putting the heart of the music second. I listen to two or three tracks and need a rest ! ... I have found your playing to be consistently from the heart; for the music; endlesly listenable and uplifting - I will be buying your cd ! Thankyou

  • Hi there.

Thanks for your kind wors. I am very happy to read them.

I try to play with my heart because to me, music is about communication, not "showing of" .-) It's nice to know you can hear this. Thank you.

I hope you will buy my CD and listen to me with all the love that I put into the pieces.

    All the best,

    Per-Olov

  • Have you ever thought of re-recording this with better audio quality? This is one of the best versions on YouTube, and I wish the quality was better..

  • Hi. I have this on my CD with perfect sound so ... no, I will not re-record it. It's catually YT sound that is bad. the original is good, I think.

    Kindly,

    Per-Olov

  • Per-Olov, you are just great, man.

I've enjoyed so much the pieces you play.

I was playing Lágrima but i couldn't find the feeling, until i've crashed in your version. Excellent also.

  • Hi there. Thank you so much for your kind comment. I am happy if you use me as a reference how to play your pieces. But it's also very important that you put yourself into it too. Get ideas from others but ever copy too much. :-)

    Good luck with playing it!

    Per-Olov

  • I also have used your version of Lagrima as a starting point (though I am still to get to the starting line!!). Your feeling is fantastic, and not easy to reproduce. I am sure you are teaching the student guitarists of the world many wonderful lessons by posting on YT - again, thankyou.

    Svårt!

    Hälsningar från Köpenhamn.

    Per-Olov

  • Beautifully played! You have the technique and tone as well to pull it off. FINALLY!!! A version of this piece I can relax and enjoy.

  • :-) WOW! That is great to hear. I am very happy you liked my version of this, maybe one of the best original guitar pieces...

    Kindly,

    Per-Olov

  • The best interpretation of capricho arabe I have ever heard. you play it with feeling like no other.

    regards from Germany!

  • Hallo! Vielen Dank! I am very happy you like my version of this beautiful piece!

    Kindly,

    Per-Olov

  • Hej Peo!

Förresten damp After Silence ner i postlådan förra veckan. Otroligt bra! mvh Anders

  • Hej Anders,

    Sköt om dig.

    Per-Olov

  • The most soulful rendition I ever heard! This is how this piece is meant to be played! Thank you!

  • Well... thank YOU! I am happy you like my version.

    Please keep listening.

    Per-Olov

  • wow! what can i say? wonderful Tarrega, and superb playing as usual. congrats Per...

  • Thank you my friend. I missed this comment...? Sorry. I am honored you listen to me.

    Kindly,

    Per-Olov

  • incredibl one of the best ive heard

  • Thanky uo very much! I am honored.

    Kind regarsds,

    Per-Olov

  • Hola! Muchas gracias.

    Salu2,

    Per-Olov

  • I love this piece by Fransico Tarrega!

Well played as always by Kindgren.

  • Thanks my friend. Seeing your username I guess you know the music og Kapsberger...? My professor loved his music and played it all the time in his last years.

    Per-Olov

  • Yes I love his music!

You should play some of his pieces and post it, I´ve actually never heard his music on classical guitar.

It would be very interesting to hear;)

  • bravo - very good - class-spiritous- emotinal - inerpreting, brought my past to present!!!

  • amazing interpretation.

I guess F. Tarrega had a very special way of composing and emotional accent.

    ***** stars :)

  • Whenever Per-Olov picks up the guitar, the music has meaning.

  • :-) Thank you! I am honored by your kind words.

    All the best!

    Per-Olov

  • It's "Francisco Tárrega" not "Francesco Tárrega", as he was spanish, as well as Andrés Segovia, Isaac Albeniz, ... please!

  • Thank you. It's corrected. Sorry... :-)

    Per-Olov

  • Peo, I am so happy to find this video from you. It's the next song for me to learn and you have a great sound in your recordings.

  • Per-Olov, Thank you so much for posting the videos that you do. I'm in my third semester of studying music. I've only just entered upon the journey into the world of music and somehow I find myself at the point where Capricho Arabe is the peice I'm currently working on learning. I always end up migrating to your music because you seem to capture and express the richness of a song's emotions better than all others. Veryl

  • Deae Veryl,

Thank you! That is a nice comment. I am also honored you "use" me as a reference. It's good to know. This piece is also one of my favourite of all time and in my opinion Tarregas best.

Please keep playing and good luck!!

    Per-Olov

  • Dear PerOlov,

Thank you a lot, you inspired me to start study classical guitar (i studied guitar for 7 monthes, but not somthing serious), your beatiful music and your great taste really did somthing to me - i tooj one of the best teachers out there and putting all of myself into this. Best wishes from Israel,

    Ohad

  • Hello Ohad,

I am sorry I never saw this until today...

I am very happy to hear you listen to me and that I can inspire you. As a teacher myself, that is the best comment I can get. Please don't ever stop playing!

    Per-Olov

  • Wonderful I have listened to your various contributions many many times and consider you a soulful, skilled interpreter who helps me greatly as I fumble along on my guitar with some of these beautiful pieces. (I seem to learn most quickly by watching and listening.) I thought it is time to join with all the others who thank you for sharing your gems with us.

    Mille grazie,

    Terry (North Carolina)

  • Dear Terry.

Thank you so much for your kind words. Apprecited. Mille grazie! It's good to now I can inspire you to play more!! Keep plying!

    Per-Olov

  • Thank you very much! I am happy you like my interpretation of this beautiful composition.

    Kind regards,

    Per-Olov

  • I m not to much into the video, but I really like your interpretation of the song. So far the best I ve found n youtube.

Keep it up, a great job.

  • LOL... well, I know what you mean... :-)

I agree. But thanks for the kind words about my playing and thats what counts..

    KIndly,

    Per-Olov

  • Hi, could you pls keep off making such a vulgar comment.(latiiiina)

I occasionally return to get inspired of Peo's playing, in particular

his poetic version of the Capricho and also found the video really nice and suits

    the Capricho spirit.

If anyone finds „corny" this version, poste yours.Bela, Budapest.

  • I loved listening to this, but would rather see you play it as well. Where is this video, Eppletoft? This piece is my only youtube post. I now know why no one watches it. Yours is way better. Tusen Tak.

  • Why don't you play songs like this? Can u play a piece like this? I would love to see ur interpretaion of Caprice.

  • Extremely corny! Get rid of it!

  • Hi Jo,

I am back for 4 hours from Sweden, leaving for Spain and France. I didn't want to log in as I am in a hurry but thought I'd better reply to this. So, you don't like my Capricho Arabe. That is OK but I resent your comment. Please tell me I suck at it instead of telling me to delete it! I will not!

    Per

  • I quote YOU:

"If this is too corny, let me know so I can remove it!"

There you go! It's too fricking corny! The romantic film with the landscapes and the ducks and the music; argh!

Have fun in Spain and France!

Love of love (also for Marie!)

    Jo

  • I quite like your Capricho though. I guess it's just too much for me. I need to see lions killing zebras while listening to it.

  • Are you angry now?

  • Lol

  • great song to bad i can't watch you play it :(

keep up the good work peo >:3

    osvaldo, mexico

  • I feel it in a different way, but your interpretation is very, very good !

  • HI1 thanks a lot. This can be palyes in many ways. Mine is only one version.

But the music is beautiful! In my opinion Tarregas best...

    Per-Olov

  • Yes it can be felt while listening to you playing Tarregas pieces. When you love the composers music you play it even better:)

    Good luck !

    David, Poland

  • the emotion is in the music very good!!

  • Thank you! Glad you like my music!

    Kindly,

    Per-Olov

  • merhaba Peo,ben Dilara nın annesiyim.Sizi kızım sayesinde tanıdım.Tıpkı Dilara gibi bende sizin müziginize hayran kaldım.Gönlünüze sağlık..Sevgilerle....

  • merhaba... I am sorry but the only word I recognize is Dilara... Do you know her? Is she OK?

  • Thank you! That is nice to hear!

    Kindly,

    Per-Olov

    Good luck!

  • Beautiful.

  • Thanks a lot

    Kindly,

    Per-Olov

  • not a good version of the song

  • Hi,

I am sorry you don't like my playing. :-(

    Can you tell me why?

    Kindly,

    Per-Olov

  • Dear Per, that was a humorous remark after my negative comment on your Lagrima. The truth is that someone who plays capricho arabe so good, should make me cry with Lagrima.

  • A nice video excellent playing. But, is it really you? An unbelieving Tom, might doubt it

  • Hey! Why do you doubt this? Off course it's me!!! Don't you think I can play? Is it too good? :-)

Please have a look at my other videos and maybe buy my new CD "AFTER SILENCE". :-)

I am truly sorry you doubt it...

    Per-Olov

  • Hola! Muchas gracias!

    Saludos,

    Per-Olov

  • It is dark, quite the contrary, people who live their lives to the apex as I do, that although only 27 years and who have seen and lived through everything, even famine in travel explored by my country (Brazil ),... Do reflect and see that here on Earth not take anything, just wisdom, knowledge and feelings, ... That the music played by Sir Andante Largo explains.

    Namastê

  • Ola Namastê!

WOW! Thank you. I am moved by your words.

    Per-Olov

  • the music makes the film footage seem creepy and dark

  • Yeah! I think you are right! I have thought about that too!

    Per

  • Bela música,...sentimento e reflexão!

    Bravo!!!

  • Hola!!

    Muchas gracias. Saludos desde Copenhagen!

    Per

  • This is one of the most perfect and lyrical interpretations of this piece I've ever heard.

I'd take my hat off to you but it's too cold in my studio.

  • its great! this one and the version of jason vieaux are my favourite!

  • Incredibly inspiring and uplifting! *sigh*

  • Thank you Amy! I am happy you listen to me.

    Peo

  • CORNY???? Are you mad??? This is fantastic .Of course with guitar work like that , you could be showing a 3 stooges cartoon and it would STILL be fabulous .

  • LOL. Thank you. That's nice to hear. So the next vidoe I make will be with Bach and Donald Duck!! :-)

    Kidding!

    Per

  • That was amazing. I closed my eyes and was completely taken into your world.

    excellent playing

  • Thank you! Appreciated. Then you didn't need the film I made!! LOL

    Per

  • I could not play this piece entirely yet as i only started playing classical guitar for 2 years. Your playing once again inspired me to continue.

  • Well, I couldn't play this after 2 years either...! I am happy to be inspiering! As a classical guitar professor, that is good to hear!

    Keep playing!!

    Per

  • I had not been aware of this recording and video until this moment. Your interpretation

is wonderful and the video matches it very

nicely. Your entire work on Tarrega is

    magnificent. Thanks!

  • THank you for listening to me! Appreciated!

    Kindly,

    Per

  • Bravo maestro, very good tone. I just scrolled down a little and read that your arm hurts. I cannot help but Abel Carlvaro's book Escuela de Guitarra or School of Guitar might, dont take me wrong please maestro im not understimating, its just this book has a very healthy point of seeing guitar tecnique. It helped with some of my pains.

  • WOW! Thank you for your concern and info. My arm is much better now thank oyu! I know this book. it's great!

    Kindly,

    Per

  • this isn't corny.. i think the nature and enviroment is one of the most inspiring things to composers

  • Thank you. Very well said.

    Kindly,

    Per

i need the advice of someone who knows what theyre on about.

  • Thank you for listening. I am happy you like it!

    Keep playing.

    Kindly,

    Peo

  • This is surely a masterful version, played as if with a Spanish soul (you will have to check your genealogy ? ). The overtones from the guitar are beautiful, and Denmark looks like Nova Scotia.

  • LOL. Well, I was born in Colombia. And I am in love with a Venezuelan woman. Is that "latin" enough? :-)))

Thank you! I am honored by your kind comment!

    Kindly,

    Peo

  • Underviser du i kbh peo? :)

    mvh. Søren

    Peo

  • You do sometimes! LOL

Your "Spanish romance" for instance is the best I've heard so far!

  • LOL THANKS! I can beat Bream!! YES!!!

I'm kidding. But I am very happy for your kind words.

    Kindly,

    Per-OLov
