Oh, I once started practicing this piece, without actually having heard someone play it. Nice to hear a different (and a good deal more professional) take on it than mine. Especially nice to hear that the interpretation wasn't too far from what I had in mind :-)
After listening to various interpretations, I think this one must be my favorite. It even beats the Bream one in my opinion :) Keep up the great work;)
I have no idea what you were thinking of while playing this and what emotion you were trying to convey but the tears in my eyes are a proof that you did convey a feeling. Good for you to play with feeling instead of showing off like others do. Now if you'll excuse me I need to go redo my mascara. :P
Excellent! I listen your songs with my soul, not ears... Congratulation. And this video show me how beauty it's Denmark. I hope someday i meet this wonderful place.

@JmJones2 He's said elsewhere that, since he had to work on recuerdos so much as a student, he's just bored with it now. Maybe in a few years, he said.
Hi! I am sorry. I more often get the comment I play too slow! And now you think I play too fast... :) I love J.B. too and have all his records. I don't thinkit's such a big difference. Do you? I will try to be more carefull with the tempo from now on though.
Peo, you are so modest and thoughtful. I really appreciate the number of times you respond in person to people's comments, even when they are not wholly complimentary.
In my (humble) opinion, many players play too fast: technically superb, but sometimes putting the heart of the music second. I listen to two or three tracks and need a rest ! ... I have found your playing to be consistently from the heart; for the music; endlesly listenable and uplifting - I will be buying your cd ! Thankyou
Have you ever thought of re-recording this with better audio quality? This is one of the best versions on YouTube, and I wish the quality was better..

Dear Per, that was a humorous remark after my negative comment on your Lagrima. The truth is that someone who plays capricho arabe so good, should make me cry with Lagrima.
It is dark, quite the contrary, people who live their lives to the apex as I do, that although only 27 years and who have seen and lived through everything, even famine in travel explored by my country (Brazil ),... Do reflect and see that here on Earth not take anything, just wisdom, knowledge and feelings, ... That the music played by Sir Andante Largo explains.
CORNY???? Are you mad??? This is fantastic .Of course with guitar work like that , you could be showing a 3 stooges cartoon and it would STILL be fabulous .
Bravo maestro, very good tone. I just scrolled down a little and read that your arm hurts. I cannot help but Abel Carlvaro's book Escuela de Guitarra or School of Guitar might, dont take me wrong please maestro im not understimating, its just this book has a very healthy point of seeing guitar tecnique. It helped with some of my pains.
Que mas puedo decir que no este ya dicho, esta es una de las interpretaciones mas bellas que he oido de este tema (he oido muchas, ya que estudie 12 años de guitarra clasica) bueno felicitaciones realmente bueno 5 estrellas.
Hey Peo, loving your music...I really love the tone your guitar is getting...it's great to listen to. In fact, I just re-learned Capricho Arabe for the second time!!! thanks for the music...Scott
this is brilliant i have a recording of someone playing this and its not as good as your!!!!!!! your ace!(i know i have said that before) please look at some of my vids i havnt been playing very long, about ten months and ive had no training i taught myself.
i need the advice of someone who knows what theyre on about.
This is surely a masterful version, played as if with a Spanish soul (you will have to check your genealogy ? ). The overtones from the guitar are beautiful, and Denmark looks like Nova Scotia.
very nice. better then segovia ;)

Capricho Arabe is a wonderful story and you tell it well...

This is one of the most perfect and lyrical interpretations of this piece I've ever heard.
I'd take my hat off to you but it's too cold in my studio.

CORNY???? Are you mad??? This is fantastic .Of course with guitar work like that , you could be showing a 3 stooges cartoon and it would STILL be fabulous .

I had not been aware of this recording and video until this moment. Your interpretation
is wonderful and the video matches it very
nicely. Your entire work on Tarrega is
magnificent. Thanks!

This is surely a masterful version, played as if with a Spanish soul (you will have to check your genealogy ? ). The overtones from the guitar are beautiful, and Denmark looks like Nova Scotia.

LOL. Well, I was born in Colombia. And I am in love with a Venezuelan woman. Is that "latin" enough? :-)))
Thank you! I am honored by your kind comment!

okay. Jeg flytter nemlig til kbh til årsskiftet, og har dermed også brug for en ny guitar (klassisk) underviser. :)
Er det privat undervisning du selv klarer eller er det gennem et firma eller konversatoriet?
ferskenicetea 4 years ago
Hej. Velkommen til KBH! Det må nok blive privat. Send mig en besked her når du er kommet på plads, OK?
Så kan vi altid snakke om det.
