  • DAMN IT'S BEEN SO LONG... and yet I remember the setup as if it were yesterday. Nice, I guess.

12 days to relevant "checkpoint" in life.

  • cool ;)

  • are you using radiosity?

  • Nope.

  • sweet test remder agent47

  • this loooks awsome. i can never get videos and animations to look that clear. what did you use to render it. also what format did you render it in. i get big files out of blender and the youtube vid looks awsome. you must have had to change the format.

  • Thanks!

Well, I used Blender Internal. I rendered as PNG (for re-mastering purposes), then rendered it with the Blender Sequence Editor as AVI Jpeg (1024x576 @ 30 FPS).

That's pretty much it, actually. You can skip the whole PNG part. Like I said, I only do it if I want to post-pro and use a file as a still render.

  • @agent47crows You mean, that if I render 250 frames as PNG, and want to tweak the contrast and lightning, I need to do that on 250 frames, one by one?

  • @osmodivs

No way! You can batch edit them using some program that allows batch processing (i.e. IrfanView).

Batch processing means modifying a number of files by given parameters like resolution, brightness, effects, etc.

  • o dang, it's your oversaturated window. did you finally get the tile put in your room or was that the other one? i can't remember, i know you got kicked out of one room and into another, then kicked outa that room too =P

  • You fail.

It's overexposed. Oversaturated would be... Ben's teeth?

And I dunno, I think the bathroom usually has tile flooring. I know I just wanted to have mirrors on the ceiling.

  • Bingo, ben's teeth are actually oversaturated. We can call your bedroom Mirrors Edge now.

  • Aww... that's the sweetest thing anyone's ever said about my renders!

  • ok, so you rendered it with luxrender?

damn, i haven't figured out, yet, how to make videos with yafray, i only get still png's for every frame :-(

  • Actually, no. Rendering it in Lux would take... ~ forever squared.

About getting only pngs, I think it's time somebody made a tutorial on how to merge files in Blender. It's been a long time.

  • Put all png's in Blender sequencer and export it as a movie, simple.

  • sorry, how does it work xD

  • Um, is that a question?!

  • ok, i have found the solution :-)

  • I know this is mean, but... that's a win, dude. Kudos.

  • AWSOMEZ !! ^^

    5 Stars =]

Now you just need to add a curtain (cloth), bed, computer, rug/carpet etc ^^ hehe

  • Well, kinda. I need to add the fireplace, bed, PC, sound system, guitars, amps, chair... and NO RUGS (very bad experience with wooly carpets that start to decompose).

  • roflolpms, well keep up the good work anyway ^^

  • Thanks!
