I like this gun but it's almost the same size as the Glock 21 ? The 21 holds 13+1 rounds of 45 acp, the 37 only 10 of the GAP round. I like the 38 for it's size though.
It has a 4 inch bbl instead of a 3.75 inch like the model 30. The 30 does hold 11 rounds though were the 38 holds 9. No big deal 2 rounds and the 38 is slimmer.
It's a toss up ! Im going to have to compare them in person and then decide.
I may even go with the model 32 in 357 Sig. That round puts out some massive eneenergy !!
I live in the Peninsula. I shoot at Jacksonarms a lot. Do you recommend any other places? maybe somewhere cheaper and with less gun noobs (they scare me :p )
the grip on the gun is actually set up different than on the ACP models.. hince why glock created it in the first place. there is a reason 5 state police use it and it is because u get 45 stopping power on a 9mm frame.
I am interested in buying one of these bad boys, but on their website it says you can use a pair of keys to lock the gun, under the stock by the clip. Did yours come with this or is it a optional feature?
@DevinRAR Can't go wrong with a Glock although I wouldn't get a g37, g38, or a g39 to be honest. They are all in the .45gap get a .45acp Glock if your set on a .45 if not consider a model in .40. If you have a 1911 or plan on getting one go with .45acp so they can share ammo assuming you go with .45acp 1911 that is. My g37 has been the ONLY gun I have bought that I regreted due to the caliber.
As far as the lock I have NEVER seen a Glock with one and it is a option I do not recommend.
@bayareasrick I see, from what I have seen the Glock 45GAP and ACP are nothing more than to handle the different ammunition, so if I do go with a Glock I may go with the ACP.. I also looked into the Glock 17 with is a 9MM standard, which is great for the ammo to cost ratio.
@DevinRAR If it is going to be a home / self defense firearm go with a .45acp (g21, g30, g36) or .40 (g22, g23, g27, g35) at least, 9mm (g17, g19, g26, g34) not enough stopping power in my opinion. If it's just for the range go for it g17 very popular model maybe most popular of them all. One last thing go to CalGuns.net go to Private Firearms Sales you then meet up at FFL / gun store and do your DROS and 10 day waiting period all 100% legal. You'll find the best deals there and a good community
I have a Glock 37 and it really isn't that expensive to shoot anymore. You can get TMJ and FMJ in boxes of 50 for around $21. Still on the expensive side but a lot better than $32 a box which is what they started out costing. A few more state police agencies like our Florida State Police have adopted the .45 GAP so they're making more of it and price has gone down.
Great round too, very controllable, heavy, and accurate (it's a Glock :)

What do not understand at this gun shop Tunners out doorsmans
The Glock 37 ( 45 Gap) is cheeper in price then the Glock 17 or 19.
I wounder why ? because the .45 is the bigger cailber when it was advertised on the 7 day specail the Glock 37 was $375 and the Glock 17 & 19 $485
Captb55806 1 year ago
@Captb55806 because 45 GAP is hard to find and expensive so they don't sell as well.
