To restore your jailbroken ipod, first download "safari". Then download "TinyUmbrella" and use that to save your SSH, because apple became strict saying that you need their signature to restore, so saving your SSH will trick the computer saying you do have the signature. These are the steps:

1. Go to "felixbruns.de" in safari and download the firmware that's on your ipod

2. Open "TinyUmbrella" and save your SSH

3. When it's done, run TSS server.

i know a way to do it without losing anything.

1. I'm not sure if you have to but google how to unjailbreak an i pod touch and yo should come across one that tells you to change the hosts file and add something at the end

2. Have the latest version of iTunes downloaded.

3. Plug in your iOS device and put it in recoverey mode.

4. Open up iTunes it should say and ipod has been put in recovery then click the restore button

5. After it says extracting software press and hold home button

@TheVyperzz It will go to 4.3, however, if you have a saved shsh, you could revert (I think). 4.3 jailbreaks are coming out and there is already Sn0wbreeze 2.3b4 (a beta) and jb's like jailbreakme are expected in next week :) jailbreakme will probably be like before, doing it directly on the ipod!

I do this with my iPod touch 3g 32gb witch was previously jailbroken with blackra1n and i cant get past waiting for iPod while trying to restore it. Then it usually gives me unknown error 9 in iTunes. Also i cant re jailbreak with blackra1n and i know how to fix the blackra1n asd.dll error. Is there a way i can force format my iPod or something. I know how to restart it its stuck in dfu because of the tethered jailbreak. If you think you can help me please give me some suggestions thanks.
