The oldest coin I have is a 1793 cent. The most valuable is which I happen to have two of is the 1909-S VDB, one in MS-64 and the other F-12 (Fine-12). The MS-64 is worth $1,500 now if I sell it. The other is $550.
One time I was at the bank and I got a roll of quarters and I told the lady I collected coins and she said she had something she would give me in exchange for one quarter. I gave her one quarter and what I got was a 2005 west virginia silver proof quarter!
I have a row of mint state gold finger connections that were cut off of an original Nintendo video game circuit board. The gold contacts have never been touched by human hands. I estimate that there is at least a sixteenth of a nanogram of gold on those contacts. Can life get any better?
hey im john im 12 years old and i have been collecting coins paper money stamps comics for the last 2 years and i have a good amount of them come look at them now in my videos.you should like them
@schneibgamer1 A proof is basically a very high quality version of a circulated coin, except that they are minted for collectors and not for circulation. They tend to look "frosted" and "mirror-like." Proofs today are made at the San Francisco mint, while earlier proofs were made at the Philadelphia mint.
I have an 1898 quarter.. not sure what its worth if any one knows how much it is worth please let me kno!!! it looks just like the one at 3:24 but its a 1898.
i have a quarter from 1976 on the front its the old kind with 1776-1976 and on the back it says eplurbis unum with a person with a tricorn drumming i also have one of guam
If you have no appreciation for things of the past, you will not understand numismatics. If you have no appreciation because you lack knowlege of the history of money, there are countless books on the subject that can help shed some light on the subject for you. If you still do not understand, you're just not destined to be a numismatist. That's okay though, because there are plenty of other people who are avid collectors and appreciate the history enough to keep the hobby alive.
the state quarters in circulation will never be worth more than a quarter :-) Same with the sacagawea, susan b. anthony and presidential dollars. The silver state quarters are worth something of course :-) Nice denver o 69 proof.
Mine has very very mild oxidation on the obverse. The Red Book says it's worth $5. So I can only assume I would get about 2.50-3.00 for it. But hey, I only paid a quarter for it.
oh i have a question can anyone tell me?i have seom state quarters ohio.someone told me the letter on it ''p'' was a mis print? and is out of print and rare? i have both of them.are they worth anything or out of print with that letter p on them?
Proof coins have a frost like look to them produced only for collectors. Circulated means that it is being spent so you will find it amongst your change.
the 1903 quarter?? umm it has this face he looks roman and the 13 stars around his face theres an eagle in the other side with the 13 stars on the top of it.. :)
Ohh ok, You got a hair cut! I went through that phase... Anyway.. i watched your other video last night and noticed your computer. The fan speed cable has the wrong connector.!! I know totally void of coinage in this message. I will private message you with some coin info.
Mostly in change at my work. However I will be selling off my entire collection soon as I would like to get into snake breeding with high end morphs. So I will need money to make money. It sucks to get rid of it, but I would like to work from home eventually and what better way than to be a professional snake breeder. It will take several years to get to that point but well worth it once I do.
thats bicentennial. in 1975 and 76 they made special quarters, half dollars, and dollar coins with a new design for the 200th anniversary of our country.
