Thats interesting - I've always recommened "Table Talk" to people, it is the best insight into Hitlers mind IMO. I didn't know Mr Irving was a fan of the book; it is a great document and you really see the true Hitler, as much as is possible anyway. There are other books like "Hitlers Scecond Book" which I am quite dubious of. Irving is a great historian, going to primary sources like he did really upset alot of people even though it was/is the best and most effective method of research.
Irving lost his Trial becasue he ignored primary sources, I'm afraid. Quite happy to list them if you'd like? There are more than 15 cases, all demonstrably centred on Irving adding or leaving out information to create a false impression. He also failed to footnote research or inform his readers of primary sources.

Thats interesting - I've always recommened "Table Talk" to people, it is the best insight into Hitlers mind IMO. I didn't know Mr Irving was a fan of the book; it is a great document and you really see the true Hitler, as much as is possible anyway. There are other books like "Hitlers Scecond Book" which I am quite dubious of. Irving is a great historian, going to primary sources like he did really upset alot of people even though it was/is the best and most effective method of research.

Irving lost his Trial becasue he ignored primary sources, I'm afraid. Quite happy to list them if you'd like? There are more than 15 cases, all demonstrably centred on Irving adding or leaving out information to create a false impression. He also failed to footnote research or inform his readers of primary sources.
