i have done this before and it works out fine. Using toy cars is a really good way to play with a paper or cardboard city.

if u want a good idea, stack 2 peices of paper on top of each other and then fold it like he did in the movie. tape it, then when ur ready for the roof make 2 sides match the top perfectly and 2 sides go on a little. then fold those 2 parts stickin out and put them in between the 2 peices of paper. :)
