No, I haven't ever been there before. I think the owner has been to our club before though. UFO in Highland, Mi That's a long way for you to go shopping. If I'm ever in the area, I would like to try that state park. Is that a west wind slope? nice talking to you.
Actually Uproar it is a North/Northeast wind slope, with best conditions when the wind is blowing from a 360-30 deg heading. It is nice when a low pressure system goes through, then clears up with clear conditions and a cool wind (in the summer) wrapping around the low from the north - hits directly against the slope. Nice clean (non-turbulent) air off the lake.
Hey Scott You ever go there in the winter to fly? I'm in South'n part of Michigan. No slope site's around me. I do have one of those planes also. Nice video.
Thanks - no, I haven't flown at all this winter, slope or otherwise. Trying to focus on building and staying warm. Can't wait to get back to the slope though. You ever go to the Prop Shop up around Van Dyke and 8 mile? Nice hobby shop - lots of cool kits.
awesome control imo :) i had my first flight today with my new easy glider electric. Had a crash but it should be fixed now. Hope i can fly like you one day :D
Thanks M. The EZ is an awesome plane! My brother's has had several accidents, but it just won't die. Elapor foam rocks! I'll pass on the complements to my bro (Nanosio2). Happy Flying!
The song on the first video (Part 1) is "The Battle" score from the Chronicles of Narnia soundtrack...music by Harry Gregson-Williams. Part 4, is Creed's "My Sacrifice." Keep me posted on the EZ.
Hi Matt, I'm the pilot on this one. To answer your question, no. In fact, the EasyGlider more than any other plane taught me to use my rudder independently. On both the slope and regular sailing I often cross-control, (opposite rudder and aileron) in order to turn into lift and yet keep the wings flat to optimize lift. I do have spoilers mixed with a little elevator for landing and getting out of lift.
Beautiful ... I so enjoyed the video and music. It brought great flying memories ..
I liked it so much, I went out and bought the Kit ... I am going to fly it at the Berkeley marine with the view of San Francisco..

Nice flying.
Did you reinforce any part of the glider? Maybe fiber tape or carbon tubes?

Wow...nice landing ! I only manage to land about 1/5 times. The others are pretty well "controlled crashes".

I'm the videographer. I'll forward your question to my brother, the pilot. But, I don't believe so - at least not on the easyglider...?
