Not only is ammo drying up I get looked at like I insulted their mom @ Bass pro, Cabellas n Cheaper than dirt when I ask for 12 ga. 3 1/2 mag 000 or hi vel. slugs n really get dirty looks when I ask for .44 mag. fmj rounds. I cant even find the bullets to load my own. Did I wake up in the Twilite Zone?
wow....after they say main battle rifle, they show a Dragunov....eheh....SVD look cool but they are not that useful. If you are going to buy a sniper rifle, then get an M24. If you are going to get an actual battle rifle, then get a HK91(G3)
Guys who plan on buying a gas mask don't buy military surplus gas masks because surplus gas masks are not guranteed to work.. If you cant shell out the cash for a modern military mask buy a much cheaper Israeli civilain gas mask its was the first mask shown in the video it can be more uncomfortable than most other masks but it will work in case you need it. Make sure they are relativly new or they wont work for against anything but possibly teargas. Im no expert but I know a bit about gas masks.
You can buy Finnish maks, and I beg to differ, we are not talking nerve agents YET! just uses of incapacitating gasses at your fixed position, CS, Smoke, puker,etc, and a mask can keep you in the game. Dirt trackers trick, place lexan sheets on lenses so when old ones get coated rip em off. Newer puker gas is also contact, not just inhalent, so your screwed with or without. Mask a moot point If shooting begins against "Officials", your dead! Fighting FED militias and or dumb civies, good luck

A "protective mask" isn't gonna do you a bit of good for the simple fact that once your exposed to whatever you need the mask for you can't take it off untill your decontaminated in a rear decon area. you will have whatever agent you were exposed to all over you so once the mask comes off well... there it is. Also any mask is better than no mask well again it will give you a false sense of security. I think I'll go w/o and just avoid the threat.

I totally agree about any gas mask is better than none. I have a review vid on a Military Isreali Surplus mask. From time to time I get some dumbass comment about how it's not going to work. They way I see it is, if the seal is perfect, and you have a new filter, it'll work. Oh yeah, and I can almost garantee the people leaving the comments don't have any mask/or one better.

very informative. and yes, you can mix all kind of gear together. although some components wont mix with others.certain pouches seem to be designed to fit onto realy thin belts. and wont fit on a standard u.s. belt. oh yeah,and those chineese chi-com chest pouches and shoulder bags are hard to get into at times.
Not only can old AND new equipment systems be intermixed, but equipment from DIFFERENT nations can be utilized. I have German camo pattern uniforms, a USGI pistol belt, an old East German AK magazine pouch, and a British DMP suspender set. Make use!
