(P1)This is very difficult to explain, but there's something called "justification" and something called "sanctification." Justification is what happens when a person receives the sacrifice for his own sins that was made by Jesus, who was God in the flesh. When a person is justified, all of his past, present & future sins are forgiven. Being justified is what gets a person into heaven.
(P2)Sanctification is more complicated and helps a person receive the abundant life, in this world, that Jesus promised. During the sanctification process, which is lifelong, God helps you overcome sin and thus follow the law (i.e., the Commandments). I don't know what verse you're talking about, but while obeying the law will result in a more abundant life, it will not get you into heaven.

(P4) What Jesus did is such a beautiful thing and I always am confused when people try to find the "catch" behind his sacrifice. God loves us unconditionally and he'll not only save you from eternal torment, if you will let him, he'll also lift you up in this life. All it takes is a step of faith.

Jesus' sacrifice is the greatest of all, done so that we as sinners won't be held to the same accountability for our sins as they were before his crucifixion. in old times people would die for their sin but by Jesus' sacrifice we are allowed to repent and win salvation. his sacrifice allows us to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. while soldiers make great sacrifices everyday, they sacrifice their lives for the country while Jesus sacrificed his life for the world.
(P5) I don't know what sin you're hanging onto, but do know people well enough to understand that we all have something in our lives that we are afraid we are going to have to give up to follow Christ. Whatever that thing is: 1) God won't abandoned you after he saves you and he will help you with anything that is not in your best interest, and; 2) No one has ever lived a happy live pursuing their particular sin of choice.
(P6) Finally, and sorry for being so long winded, once you take that first step of faith, you will never doubt that God exists again. I love how God hears my prayers and answers them in ways that leave no room for doubt that he has heard my prayers. It's really awesome to see how God answers prayers and then to think about the divine logistics behind answered prayers.

Law & Order is a good show but I would like to see more done on the most recent real life events acted out. It's a lot going on in this country that needs to be told to the public.
All I can tell you is that there is not even a hint of doubt in my mind that immediately after I die, I'll find myself in heaven, kneeling before Jesus. What you need to make sure of is that there is not even a hint of doubt in your mind that you will just fade to black, because the ramifications of you being wrong are truly horrific.

Jesus' sacrifice is the greatest of all, done so that we as sinners won't be held to the same accountability for our sins as they were before his crucifixion. in old times people would die for their sin but by Jesus' sacrifice we are allowed to repent and win salvation. his sacrifice allows us to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. while soldiers make great sacrifices everyday, they sacrifice their lives for the country while Jesus sacrificed his life for the world.

I love how God hears my prayers and answers them in ways that leave no room for doubt that he has heard my prayers. It's really awesome to see how God answers prayers and then to think about the divine logistics behind answered prayers.

I just read creationist theory on Dinosaurs.. They died in the flood which explains why their perfectly fossilized.. but if the world flooded that means all plants would have died. Their explanation is, God did not put the burden of replanting life.. god took care of it for him.. he kills off dinosaurs but saves plants.. Awsome!

The dinosaurs did not extinct to a flood. A meteor as big as hamilton ontario was found in the bottom of the ocean. A meteor this size with the force it was thrusted, produced a shockwave big enough to kill off dinosaurs :S It this is proven, Search Chicxulubu.. thats the name of the meteor :D and yes its all very plausable, but like me, keep an open mind.

There was no inclanation of the God being the one we worship today.. but just a make belief higher power. Since space is constantly expanding, so are the number of stars and planets, meaning their creating themselves.

well, actually if you believe in the Christian, Jewish, or Islamic faith then the Bible (yes, at least some of the old testament and even many of the teachings of Jesus (considered a prophet by Muslims) can be found in the Quran (the Islamic holy book) we are created in the image of God. so our way of thinking may not be different from His at all, but we suffer from a most limited perspective.
