I call it the Pocket Chopper, and forge them in my shop. Basically it is the same style as the Razel (which are awesome) except mine are forged with a differential tempering and have a convex edge. The kydex sheath clip onto the top seam of the front pocket and ride there.
I can start of fire now with all the teaching you have been doing on You Tube. I can start one with anything now. It is time for me to make another fire starter video and put it on You tube..cannot wait..I love this. :-)

There are a lot of materials you can use, like cattail fluff, a mouse or bird's nest. What you are looking for is tinder that is very dry, and is likely to catch a spark. The best thing you can do is to go out in your woods and spend an afternoon trying different stuff. Thanks for watching!
What kind of knife us it that you are using. It looks like a CRK&T Razel, is that what it is?
