  • They spent 200 dollars per person?!?! Why didn't they just give me 200 bucks, I would've voted for whoever gave me the most money

  • I wish money spoke last time I got pulled over for speeding.

  • Ever read the subtitles for this ... hilarious.

  • You only attack others when you can't defend yourself.

  • from the europe's cold north, all republican candidates look a bit batshit.

    but hey that's just me...

  • I cant wait for Gingrich to drop his "truths" on Romney. I honestly wonder if the McCain endorsement of Romney, after all the Romney/McCain attacks ads against each other 4 years ago, is really a Trojan Horse planted by Gingrich and Romney has fallen for it.

  • AMEN!

  • Damn, maybe they should have just bought everyone in Iowa a new Xbox!

  • They already do that in Mexico. Bribing voters with food. Yes it's that bad.

  • anna should get naked

  • @TheYoungTurks for a "news" and "information" channel, you seem awfully bias to the left. And that btw is an understatement.

  • @EquitesVeritatis What's your point? Are you saying that if something is to the left, it can't be news and can't be information?

  • @SandBarAndYou Lets put it this way, I don't much support the right either. But here in Canada, the left is as whacko in their political tyranny as the right is in the states. But between the 2, the left is never "right." :)

  • If you gave me my 200 dollars i would vote for you. I vote for the highest bidder, and when no bidding is done I resort to the best choice for the country, but money first. Don't call me a sell out, because you know you would take it too.

  • @strickerman101

Sellout. Take at least a grand to buy my vote, and that's because I'm poor as fuck in a voting district that is always conservative.

  • @EclipseClemens oh i will take the highest bid, they can pay as much as they want, but i start at 200, i am making a conservative estimate here.

  • @strickerman101 You people sound as stupid as the Philipenos are during election time when candidates are buying them out with money that comes out of their taxes.

  • @EquitesVeritatis Its a joke friendo, sarcasm friendo, sarcasm.

  • @strickerman101 112 ppl thumbed up the comment that Europeans underestimate the stupidity of Americans. I don't think thats a joke :P

  • @EquitesVeritatis im not talking about that, i am talking about how i was being sarcastic and i think people underestimate the American people. We didn't get to where we are because we are stupid. We work hard, stick to our guns, and don't stop. Maybe in Europe they have a defeatist attitude and in Europe trying is seen as pointless and stupid, but in America trying is intelligence.

  • @strickerman101 I do not doubt that at all, and you are correct, Europe is very much self defeatist. Ditto for Canada. But you have to admit the "Don't Tread on Me." attitude is rapidly disappearing in the states :(

  • I'm glad I don't watch much TV anymore. Granted I hate the Grinch with a flaming passion, but all those ads would get annoying after a while.

  • Comment removed

  • He still came 4th (13.3%)--behind Paul, but still relevant. Hell, just goes to show: some sizable section of Republicans must be motivated purely by evil.

  • I find it really amusing that they put "100% total" at the bottom. Rofl

  • It REALLY doesn't take much to run an anti-Gingrich ad. Just show his ugly fucking face and he'll lose a voter.

  • Hey, i have an idea, why not use that 12 million dollars for something productive that will benifit the American people? I know, sounds completely radical...

  • @mirage12896 Actually another bonus for Goldman Sachs employess would be more productive don't you think?

  • @mirage12896 a home lottery! @ 100,000 a house, 120 Iowa families in homes they owned outright. It'll never happen.

  • @mirage12896 The same could be said about Hussein Obama's trip to Hawaii in the midst of the crisis which costed over 30 million dollars (courtesy of the tax payer). Yeah, Hussein Obama REALLY cares about the american people...

  • @mirage12896 Keeping Gingrich out of office is beneficial.

  • the text that follows what they are saying is always horribly wrong.

  • "I'm speaking to you in the form of this 100$ bill"

    Hilarious !

  • OF Coooouuuurrrrsssseeeee

  • dont do sound bytes... its horrible

  • @DidierPilon

no they'll keep using sound bytes AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN

  • @DidierPilon Hell no! I love the sound bites!

  • I'd vote for anyone for $100. LOL.

  • @Mrparrot73 He's right, you idiot.

  • 0:26 Nutritional Information per single serving of Republican Primary Advertising.

  • this video has 303 views and 359 likes.. what's going on here?

  • @algotbulle ur an idiot you obviously dont know how youtube works

  • @kinectaddict I don't know how YT works in detail but I'm hardly an idiot. you on the other hand make the perfect example of the Internet-hater-cliché so congratz to being awesome and smart

  • @algotbulle view counts on you tube are refreshed slower than like counts. IIRC the view count is refreshed once every 24 hours

  • Thumbs up for viewer #304

  • What a cheap fallacy Cenk presents with the play on words with "money is speech"! Watch: let me make some similar "arguments" for you: Since Cenk is not on the RIGHT, he must be WRONG! And since the United States is supposed to be a FREE COUNTRY, I should be allowed to buy it up for free!

  • i don't think giving people money would necessarily be corruption, unless the person is somehow forced to vote for that candidate by accepting the money

  • Nationwide is not on Newt Gingrich's side.

  • And another thing about Iowa. 4 years ago, John McCain came in 4th with around 12% of the vote, while Romney hit his ceiling of 25%, and Huckabee came in first with the evangelical vote.

Iowa will always vote high for the evangelical vote, unfortunately. And I'm not discounting my man, Paul. If you take averages based on this Straw Poll, Paul, Santorum, and Romney are all tied with 7 delegates. :DD

It all comes down to NH, and SC, really.

  • I'm form Iowa, and I voted for Paul.

    Let me break it down:

Iowa is heavily Evangelical, and there were 3 people to vote for as an evangelical.

Perry, Bachmann, and Santorum. And Santorum didn't open his mouth like Perry and Bachmann did during the debates, thus he cannibalized their votes.

Santorum and Romney aren't going to make large headway during the primaries/caucuses though. Romney doesn't appeal to the southern vote, and Santorum doesn't appeal to the intelligent vote(non evangelical)

  • 150% of the NPR budget, ouch.

  • damn gingrich is getting beaaaaat

    and i relish it

  • I dunno if you can call Negative ads about Newt Negative... I think Truth doesnt really have a bias...

  • Well, well, well... the one with most positive ads won. Maybe the republicans will learn something from this, but I doubt it.

  • Not in the US, but I'm glad I'm not watching TV anymore !

  • Does someone know where the soundclip "Again and again and again" is from?

  • @startmunnen Where else? It's Gladiator again.

  • @chandl34 I thought it was Batman. But anyhow the Circus Maximus is on air again!

  • The point he makes at the end is really exactly right. He is of course being sarcastic, but seriously, why not? It would be . . . STIMULUS! And redistribution downward.

  • The one thing I find disturbing is that the whole premise of campaign financing is, "I saw it on TV therefore it is true."

  • The repuglicans are very aware that the democlits would LOVE to go up against Gingrich this fall. So they're doing everything they can to make sure that doesn't happen.

  • What?

    No Anti-Pautard ads?

  • @RealTenryuken

    *Paultard

  • @RealTenryuken Dude he isn´t supposed to win anyhow. He just serves as guideline for the other candidates...

  • @RealTenryuken yup, nothing you can really attack. The best you can come up with is that 20 years ago, he owned a publication that said racist things. What else do you attack? "this man wants peace"? "do you like civil liberties, this man will give them to you". I just don't see how you can get negative on him.

  • @bluefootedpig

    Are you loaded of cash?

Do you know that the paultard is against minimum wage?

I hope all the people that want to vote for him are aware that they'll have to work at the same wages as the chineese or even less, that's libertarians for you.

  • @RealTenryuken You do realize, the very nations liberals look at as a better form of government, have no min wage laws? The US is one of the very few first world nations with a min wage law. We also have a 9:1 ratio of studies dating back to 1950's showing that min wage laws are racist and keep people unemployed.

Also, I guess it comes to a fundamental question, what should a burger flipper at McDonalds earn? in SF it is 10+ an hour.

  • @bluefootedpig That's some pretty hard evidence right there, I'm sold. No citations, no sources, generalisations and conjecture with assumptions of opinion, and fallacies up the butt. Good job sir, you're a master (de)bater.

  • @bluefootedpig Ron Paul, as smart as he is, is delusional. An honest but delusional man.

  • @mfunke Having strong convictions doesn't make him smart unfortunately. I'm not saying he's stupid, but I haven't seen any indication that he's smarter than the average joe.

  • @mfunke what can you say about our other presidents... shall i say, "yes we can", who ran on ending wars and yet even with a 15% reduction in military spending, is spending MORE on military than bush did? Who is really delusional? Ron Paul or the american voter?

  • @bluefootedpig About other Republican candidates, they are mostly dumb religious nuts. On the Democrat side, Obama lacks balls. Democrats should go for a new candidate, one that better represents liberal ideals. Having Obama on the White House is bad for Democrats because they can't oppose a Democrat President but they don't get what they were promised, while Republicans can bully Obama into getting things their way.

  • I'd take the money from every candidate in the primaries, and regardless of who gives me the most money, even if it's Gingrich, Santourum, Bachmann, or, god forbid, Perry, I'll still cast my vote for Paul.

  • @Zeldagigafan90210 Same here- I won't be a sellout and I won't let the media control who I vote for . I will proudly write in Ron Paul's name as the GOP will now ALLOW him to be the GOP candidate despite overwhelming support. I truly believe only Ron Paul can beat Obama- a vote for any other GOP candidate is essentially a vote for Obama - they all want war with Iran except Ron Paul. Vote for the peace candidate , vote Ron Paul or get ready for the draft.

  • Ignoring the anti-gringrich ads, there is still a disappointing amount of ads focusing on attacking others rather than explaining what they would actually try to do.

  • LOL Where's Ron Paul now, fanfags?

  • I've made this point before. All those racist republicons, IF Obama was the Republican president they would LOVE him. Lower taxes than bush? check. Looser gun laws than bush? check. more illegal immigrants deported than any president? check. If Obama was "officially" a repblican (and he really is a moderate one) but officially, Ann Coulter would be loving him saying "Our blacks are better than your blacks".

  • @Teremei Just waiting for Ann Marie Coultionette to stick her head out.

  • Polls are for sheep.

  • No anti-Paul ads... that's gotta tell ya something

I love Ron Paul, and Obama, in most ways, but there's still no candidate that's really perfect for me (or the rest of America)

We need a libertarian (like Paul) socialist (sorta-like Obama)

  • @TheRedRussian10 Obama is NOT a socialist. Bernie Sanders is "sorta" a socialist. Obama is a conservative.

The reason there are no anti-Paul ads is not because there isn't any dirt on him. It's because all publicity is good publicity, especially for a candidate like Paul. They're silencing him by not doing ads on him, hoping that people will effectively forget about him.

What you need is not a socialist, you need social-ism-. You need democracy instead of your constitutional republic.

  • Give me $100 ill vote for you.

  • lol, they mad.

  • RON PAUL SUPPORTERS:

    u mad?

  • Gingrich should consider turning heel. Wait... His political legacy and effect on GOP policies is already at the extreme of the evil meter. For lacking gimmick opportunities, he probably should retire.

  • @fingrid I´m awaiting for them to secede and form the republic of Dumbfuckistan.

  • FOX News didnt even aknowledge Ron Paul. What a shame. The news media is so pro business as usual polititions. Business as usual isnt working.

  • Romney won in Iowa... Three words... What. The. Fuck.

  • SO... Ron Paul had 3% in pro ads... yet 21% percent of Iowa votes.. And somebody please tell me how the heck Santorum reached 25 percent... really? smh

  • @MyTrevonne The underdog. Now he's on the spotlight, so let's get your snacks and watch the "show".

  • romney won, good job paying attention

  • @colloredbrothers If he does.

    I'm moving to france.

  • @colloredbrothers I'm in Europe and only things we hear (past our own elections) is Newt Gingrich and Rick Perry. Not a word about others. Though they aren't always so positive about them either.

  • @colloredbrothers Yes well, to us Europeans Ron Paul is just as crazy as the other republican candidates. So why would we think that the majority of americans would vote for a 18th century loon.

  • @colloredbrothers dumbass because obama is the favorite..do you know the meaning of the word "favorite" ..ron paul is not even going to win the republican nomination..dumbass

  • @colloredbrothers Not true, a decent country like Belgium has mentioned how the unexpected Ron Paul stormed forward out of nothing. They don't give allot of detail, but than again, they don't give allot of detail about any of those candidates...

  • @colloredbrothers

Europeans underestimate the stupidity of Americans.

  • @supowit We dont underestimate the stupidity of Americans anymore :)

  • @supowit Europeans aren't much better off. The entire west is in over their heads in debt that will never be paid off. In fact there are only 6 countries on the face of the earth that are NOT in external debt. Fiat money for the losers.

  • @supowit again and again. im so sorry for you

  • @colloredbrothers I don't understand your line of reasoning. First off, I live in Europe, Sweden to be exact, and no one here is saying Obama will win, in fact several media outlets think there's a good chance the republicans will win. But even if they were saying Obama will win, how does it prove the elections are rigged? What European media says about the American election will not affect how AMERICANS vote because it's not like there are many American's tuning in to European news outlets.

  • @colloredbrothers Dr. Paul´ll never win anything. He serves as a figurehead to mark the other candidates channel...

  • @colloredbrothers

The media in Europe is bullshit. Over here Obama is still viewed as the best thing since sliced bread. I don't think i have ever heard anything bad being said about him.

  • Does anyone else notice the negative ads against Santorum?

  • Fucksakes Americans, pussies to the left of me, jokers to the right. Sort it out!

  • 12 million? damn, political parties here are lucky if they get to spend 1 million on election campaigning, and none of it can be the negative attacking style that the american politicians seem to love so much

  • Since money is speech and freedom of speech is guaranteed by the Bill of Rights doesn't that mean that every US citizen is entitled to free money? I can't wait for the government to follow through with that one; I predict that the queues will be enormous!

  • Ron Paul came in third.

Where are the Paul bots when you need him?

I thought he had it on lock?

  • Lol I love how Newt so old that he's in my history book

  • These ads pale in comparison to what Sarah Palin can do! Palin's ads PWN these EPIC FAIL ads!

  • Newt is also fucking ugly

  • Money well spent? :-/

  • The Iowa Caucus is rigged. Nobody even knew who the fucking Santorum was until the MSM started shoving him in everyone's faces. Santorum has been low in the polls. Nobody attended his rallies. Nobody gives a fuck about him yet he got the most votes in the Iowa caucus? Yeah right. The whole process is rigged. Democracy in this country is merely an illusion.

  • @igotaidsinnarnia

Or, you know, maybe people actually knew about him.

  • @igotaidsinnarnia Don't you think if they could rigg the final vote they could also rig the polls?

  • @igotaidsinnarnia only 303 views, and you already have 43 thumbs up!

  • @tpm302 views be broken in youtube, been broken since the dawn of time.

  • @igotaidsinnarnia been so since 1987

  • @igotaidsinnarnia This is conspiracy theory nonsense. I agree with you that Santorum is an idiot, but the Republicans had to go through the rest of their list of non-Romney idiots before settling on one (Santorum), too late to be properly vetted. Santorum has almost no chance of being nominated, don't worry.

  • @igotaidsinnarnia OK, calm down. You know Santorum used to be on FOX News? So, liberals (or people who don't watch FOX News) may not have known who Santorum was, but conservatives should have. By the way, have you Googled "Santorum"?

  • @igotaidsinnarnia Yeah it was probably just a setup by the Republican party for Santorum to surge right before Iowa so no one would have time to point out his hypocritical positions as well. It's fine though, Santorum will get destroyed shortly.

  • wtf, corporations are people and money is speech? nao just do away with all teh hu-mans, hide yo slaves, hide yo workers, hide yo laborers, people are coming to take your speech away.. no wait, they did that already :/

what a wonderful wonderful world ^^

oh, and better get a good price for the rights you have left..

  • It's rigged last week no one even new who santorum was and now he's winning fuck off.

  • @ThexxA7X88Xx Yeah it's 'rigged' I think visiting 99 counties in Iowa helps.

Appealing to evangelicals in Iowa also helps. But when it's an unlikely result it must be 'rigged' lol.

  • $12,000,000.00 and they haven't even gotten to Obama yet!

  • Comment removed

  • didnt bachmann already pay for 6000 votes?

  • I like how there's no Anti Paul ads. XD

  • im just amazed 26 thousand republicans voted for the anti-war candidate. thats really good news for the country.

  • Shure to Cenk: where is my bitch?!

  • I'm glad Gingrich did poorly. On the other hand, Santorum coming first is terrible.

If only all the republican candidates could come last together.

  • I love Cenk's Sound file collection :)

  • Paul people are probably so damn pissed right now at the election result.

  • @biggydx All i can say is lol lol lol lol... Paul people!!!

  • @nativemrv19722 paul came within 3000 votes out of 120,000 of number one (29 to 26), despite the entire mainstream media blacking him out at the start, then deriding him as crazy, then saying he cant win. when it became clear he WOULD win, the RNC openly said they would do whatever it takes to stop a ron paul win. this shows how much credibility the media has lost.

  • @MachinaSapien People take a few things he said are is saying and run with it. Ron Paul yes! But they don't look at the hold picture of his message. Voting for him is like hitting a reset button on you're game. Starting from 1776- is the way i see it. To radical.

  • Newt ate it again.... and again.... and.. again.

  • Well Newt was for citizen united now he's bitching about it.

  • HEY POLI'S DONT DO FUCKED UP SHIT AND THEY WONT HAVE ADDS TO RUN ON YOU OK? just a tip

  • Ron Paul or police state/FEMA camp.....your call America.

  • @AmericanNohbuddy It's the truth buddy.

You think the NDAA bill just passed was for shits and giggles?

  • 45% of that son of a bitch should keep been exploited until he drop out

  • and this is why the media wants nothing to do with occupy......they get spoken to very nicely by the politicians.

  • I wasn't expecting santorum to win iowa. wow, what a country we have.

  • @Mr071220 Doomed....

  • @Mr071220 Has he actually won yet? I did a google search form Australia, some of them of the links werent available "from my country" and Im rly curious about this, sorry for any inconvenience caused.

  • @Mr071220 ronpaul2012 com/2012/01/04/ron-paul-campaign-celebrates-great-victory-at-iowa-caucus/

  • @Mr071220 He didn't. Paul did. They screwed him.

  • @Mr071220 Santorum is a joke.

  • @Mr071220

    He didn't, Romney won.

  • @Mr071220 Romney won?

  • @Mr071220 Is this post meant to bait people?

  • @Mr071220 Didn't Mitt Romney win by 8 votes?

  • @Mordicay1849 Yes he did

  • It's going to be between Romney and Paul. Gingrich is failing fast, and Santorum just doesn't have any funding at all.

  • @TheFujimoto420 Santorum is winning >_>

  • @TheFujimoto420 prity much.

  • @TheFujimoto420 oh you don't think the 1% is going to throw money at him just to squeeze Ron Paul out?

  • DON'T GIVE THEM IDEAS LIKE THAT!

  • Poor Newt. He's going to have to go back to lobbying for hundreds of thousands of dollars.

  • Gringrich doesn't need negative ads to look ignorant.

  • Cenk that wont wont work unless there is a way of knowing exactly who voted for whom. Else people will take the $200 and still vote for whomever they wanted to.I am unsure of the method involved in this particular instance but it has failed massively in developing countries.

  • truth hurts doesn't it

  • Most Americans dont believe in evolution. Hence they devolve slowly back to the stone ages.

  • @hakkai999 Intellectually, 80-85% of Americans are far far beyond stone age. Try fucking Precambrian.

  • <
