Why can't they have them speak Chinese with English subs? It's strange when they speak English. They don't act and think like natural Chinese people.
English maybe an lingua franca, but let's NOT change everything to English because Chinese is rich and powerful language. And besides Chinese *is* getting popular and could be a consider an international language in decades to come...so let's keep it original.
The Emperor in the series starts out as a small kid, but yes. The grown version of him is portrayed by the same guy that does a lot of acting in this field. I got to watch a little at a relatives house and its great but I cant seem to find it where I live, anyone know of any streaming or torrents? as I doubt its stilled aired on any channels. Just to add if anyone was curious, the series is 33 episodes long, which is significantly shorter than most ancient Chinese dramas.
