  • @ricardozs1983 But farmer's walks are mostly static on the grip. Kipping pullups involve the force shifting all over the place, and make you tear like crazy.

  • @HerrrHosen farmer's walk is better than this nonsense workout, and believe me farmer can make you tear like crazy more than this when you do it with heavy weight

  • Don't use gloves, you won't toughen your hands. Use tape and clip or use a pumice stone on your callouses regularly.

    This guy has an OK method but it's a little fiddly, I need more layers over the base of the finger because that's where I get tears.

  • @pachin63 i wouldn't say that, people like me who are used to not wearing gloves have calluses all over are palms, so it is less likely we'd end up like her, but if you end up having hands like this girl you better get gloves, or good luck continuing to train

  • @cmsanders3m Well, the fact that her hands got torn up like that indicates that she SHOULD have worn gloves. Her soft hands can't handle the stress, and that's why they ripped apart. Being stupid is nothing to be proud about. The fact that she seems proud of her bloody hands is proof that she is stupid indeed. Wear golves next time, bimbo.

  • @bsumiko I agree, it's just stupid to rip up your hands... it slows down your training. Wear gloves, and just train your grip separately. It's much more effective and efficient. Shit I have callouses on my hands I can probably open beer bottles with and I still choose to use gloves when i'm not training grip.

  • at crossfit they teach their athletes to kip, it increases hip power and is more of a full body functional movement. judgeing by her hands at the end there, i'm gonna use gloves for plyo-pull-ups from now on lol.

  • @125riptide Torn hands are an injury that prevent proper training in the future, why would one be proud of them? Usually it's caused by using way too much chalk when doing kipping pull-ups (or too big of a swing on high reps or hand grip instead of finger gripping the bar).
