Shihan Brown: It's always good to see you demonstrate combat self defense. Your movements are very subtle, which only shows your many years of experience. Keep up the great work my Brother. Bro. Ellis
But, you need to move your blocking arm aganst this hit taught. if you spot your miss you shud bee able to block and counter vith eyblow. Good aganst drunken pple taught.
sory for gramar. an its only basic to block with other hand. yust exsplaned it the long way.
your oponent must be dumbass to do this tehnic. or he must be realy bad at blocking. well mayby I not the one to talk I block mostly with my legs . if your oponet might conter put your other hand (the one you dont hit with) in your face level(the fist is at chin level) and lover your ctance. if you lover it corectly you ad more pover to hit. makes the punching side and lover other side realy open thaught. and its kinda hard to keep acuracy, bu its much beter than this punch.
@cabalofdemons all these martial arts master wannabes trying to fluff their ego by down-rating you.. Granted, a well trained fighter has any advantage, but to any two "commoners" the size difference is a HUGE factor..
Thank you. My main problem with certain styles of jiu jitsu is they claim size doesn't matter but the masters are typically big guys. I'm a short stocky guy and I can't do the things a 6'2 225 lb man can, which is why I stick to grappling.
Every one is different, what works for you wont necessarily work for me. However, the statement that size does not matter is generally taken out of context. It does not mean that a big man is not stronger and would have certain advantages, it simply refers to the fact that no matter how big a person is even a smaller person can take them with proper technique.
I am not 6'2 225 either as a matter of fact I am the Uke in this video, but I do know the technique works.
Still, with thi vid, I am skeptical as it's the big man performing techniques on a smaller guy. Now if the roles were reversed and it was you demonstrating technique, then my doubts would be squandered. Still I prefer grappling, as judo/bjj are "little people martial arts". Not to to say they are invincible (they aren't),
@cabalofdemons Fair enough reply, I like Judo and BJJ, I work out with a good BJJ teacher near my school, however even he will tell you, you don't want to grapple if you are attacked in a setting outside of a ring. Too many variables that you will lose control of. One on one is ok, but what if your attacker has a friend or three? Yes, I disagree with the guys that say "we never go to ground" as you may find yourself there and need to know what to do but, i would prefer not to be there.
I agree about going to the ground NOT being the best or most logical choice when dealing with multiple opponents, however, grappling (BJJ, Judo, Sombo, wrestline) can and do work outside of the ring and complement and all stand up arts. Still, the idea that being versed in a striking art will allow to deal with multiple opponents is still a little flimsy as variables affect the striker as well.
check out Russian Systema for multiple opponents.Russian Systema is very much like aikido but even more nuts and bolts. Some would say like is like drunken kung fu and old school boxing
true is no one's Systema(system) is ever the same as Russian Systema will build upon your past knowledge
They also do work on the ground against multiple opponents but they are not going to spend a lot of time in a some man's guard
@cabalofdemons Dude I take my hat off to you and give you a hardy Ous!! You're the first and only practicioner of bjj I've ever encountered that has admitted your art isn't invincible.

@cabalofdemons
what he is showing is for real
I say that because his movement are very small and deceptive and subtle
The smaller you can make your move movement and the more subtle, the more athletic and skilled and powerful the other guy needs to be
look in 2 internal strikes that shakes up inner organs like a shock wave
who cares about outside blunt power?
THe strike is powerful if the other guy nevers see it comming
about strikes it is more about where and when
