It's not a glitch, during that combo, Yoshimitsu is supposed to connect with the ground. When he's over the edge, he falls off trying to hit the ground while the combo continues on the opponent.

Has anyone considered the idea that this property of that particular throw is intended? Yoshi is a pretty weird character. Something like this (Self-RO) doesn't really surprise me. In Tekken, he can run into walls with d+3+4, 3 (Kangaroo Dive) and stun himself; which isn't as bad, but screws you over similarly. Still hilarious though!
