At the age of 36 I have had some learn to speak welsh CD's from my Sister for Christmas - inspired by a couple from Brecon we met on holiday in Turkey - he learnt at age of 50!
This clip is great - I always feel a nob trying to speak another language - hopefully I can go to an eistedfod and pull this off one day
Grand, more ppl need to use the ancestral language. Things like Irish, Welsh, Scottish, Cornish, Breton, Manx; ALL need saving for future generations! Good on ya.
Da iawn Nick, braf cael clywed wnest ti fwynhau'r Eisteddfod. Dwi'n mynychu sesiynau sgwrs Menter Iaith yn Nhafarn y Castell Rhuthun Yr Wyddgrug pob wythnos. My grandfather was caned for speaking Welsh, and that was his first language. he had to wear the "Welsh Not" around his neck.
