  • UN = EVIL

  • The guardians of human rights and democracy USA, NATO/EU killing civilians to protect civilians. destroy cities to save cities. selling arms for oil. selling food or oil. true capitalism! Amnesty Internaitonal funded by terrorists. 'LTTE arm funds Amnesty Int’l' nation.lk/2011/12/25/news1.htm

  • that oil field belongs to the world. These countries are trying to take it by force. 40% of China's oil come from there. There are other countries in the world too you know? We pay good money and bought them and you are robbing it!

  • @edwardtang1977 Bullshit

  • The US Congress did not declare war on Libya so we have no reason to be there until they attack us. Obama forgot to look at the Constitution again!

  • Plenty of depleted uranium in the NATO bombs dropped.

  • fuck gringos

  • Only good thing about this video was that massive touch screen he`s playing on, and learning at 1:58 there is a cruise missile that can hover and pick a target out.

  • Apr 1 (DM) Air-strikes on Libya: Sri Lanka Govt. hits out at NATO.

The government yesterday expressed its displeasure over NATO air-strikes on Libya and said the indiscriminate killing of people was not acceptable to any govt. Minister Keheliya Rambukwella told a news briefing that NATO forces had acted beyond the United Nations mandate, which was to protect the civilians in Libya. “The UN sanctions were meant only to protect civilians from the attack of pro government forces in Libya.

  • Abc news just stated Obama authorized "covert action"

  • The Mythic Dawn

  • Wow, Noeala, you really talk out of your ass huh.

  • go USA an EU!!!!!!

  • Do you think bombarding Libya will bring demoracy? Sending rockets to kill civillians and to destroy their properties, homes, hospitals, military and economical assets in 24 hours which took centuries to built will bring peace? Is this what guardians of democracy ought to do?

  • Someone says Guardians of democracy ought to get rid of Gadhafi. I ask her did they do the same for Bush and Blair?didnt. They didnt try for illegal invasion in Iraq. will they? NO. If you ask me for better plans/suggestions for Libya. stop Libyan invasion immediately. Stop supporting separatists. compensate Libya for all properties and civillians destroyed by US-EU. Support restablish the civil life. Negotiate for democracy. Democracy must achieve in democratic way. Not buy rockets and bullets.

  • If you ask me for better plans/suggestions for Libya... stop Libyan invasion immediately. Stop supporting separatists. compensate Libya for all properties and civillians destroyed by US-EU. Support restablish the civil life. Negotiate for democracy. Democracy must achieve in democratic way. Not buy rockets and bullets. Thats what UN SHOULD DO.This invasion is another US anchor for oil , military and economical interests. That is what UN SHOULD NOT DO.

  • @NoEalamInSL You really think even the NATO countries are free? Elections are practically rigged, nobody gets on the ballot without corporate approval.

  • Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi said at United Nations in Sep 2009 that UN Security Council is a Terror Council and called nationa to abolish it . Today UNSC, USA & coalition have bombarded Libya to punish him. Gadhafi's UN statement has been proved by UNSC and US-EU coalition. It is a terror Council.

  • The Libyan invasion by EU-US could have happened to Sri Lanka during its war against LTTE terrorists in May 2009. UN & UNHRC resolutions against Sri Lanka were defeated. Western coalition lead air strikes on Libya is a political mistake. UN left a bad precedent on the international community by accepting the right to breach the sovereignty of other countries. US-EU couldnt do in SL, did in Libya. The former US ambassador in Colombo Robert Blake suggested Right To Protect law on Sri Lanka too.

  • Gadhafi is punished for his speech at UN on September 23, 2009 where he criticised UN, UNSC, USA and coalition. Gadhafi: •Called for abolishing the Security Council in favor of the General Assembly, which would become a "world parliament."

•Said the Security Council should be called the "terror council" and that nobody should accept the resolutions of the UNSC going forward.

•Said the UN headquarters be moved outside the New York so that everyone doesn't have to deal with the U.S. security.

  • Since last ten years, Islam has been the most hatred, abusive, oppressive, primitive religion around the world. There are reasons for it.9-11 attack, beheading, stoning, burkas, woman abuse, suicide bombs, violence, Al Qaeda.. etc. Islam world is under presssure to transform from exteme Islamic ideologies to democracy. That shows from uprising of youths in Middle East. Muslim brotherhood is shaken due to judo-christian influences.

  • Gadhafi at Arab League, March 2008 : 'Where is the Arabs' dignity, their future, their very existence?’ and observed, ‘Everything has disappeared’.'Our blood and our language may be one, but there is nothing that can unite us, (reported to have mocked a plan by the Arab League to start Arab cooperation on a joint nuclear programme) How can we do that? We hate each other, we wish ill of each other and our intelligence services conspire against each other. We are our own enemy."

  • The Muslim brotherhood is united only to oppress women, punish people who violate muslim law. Muslim brotherhood is united for oppression and now its changing to democracy. There is no Muslim brotherhood without oppression. so there is no democracy with brotherhood. So it is better for all that Muslim brotherhood is eliminated and manhood is reinstalled. Brotherhood is a synonym for Jihad. We prefer the manhood to brotherhood. But manhood is nowdays a synonym for power.

  • Traditional meaning of manhood is dignity and respect for universal values is gradually erasing. Yet it is better than extreme muslim ideological values. The principles like democracy can hardly get along with Muslim ideologies(MI). Gadhafi, Sadam are leaders with backbones are example of Muslim manhood. Christian brotherhood(CB) felt losing the title "manhood" (power ). They (CB) united and issued a political sentence at UN agaisnt Libya (Iraq) to eliminate the manhood of Muslim brotherhood

  • What Chistian bortherhood (US-EU coalition) is doing is destroying Muslim brotherhood and Muslim manhood. It took only 24 hours to destory assets built in centuries by generation of Muslim brotherhood. That is terrorism of Christian Brotherhood. So the old game of revenge of Muslim-christian barbarism continues in this 21st century.

  • if china get into this, along with russia, im sorry, but we are fucked.

  • They allways forget to mention Belgium...

We are currently situated in Araxos Greece, with 6 F-16s, armed with AIM-120s and AIM-9s... and patrol the coastlines to support the no-fly zone...

  • (22 Mar 2011). Sri Lanka Government condemns the US lead Attacks on Libya. External Affairs Minister G.L.Peiris told Parliament today that Sri Lanka does not approve of the US led air strikes against Libya and said they are contrary to the United Nations resolution that was adopted with the aim of alleviating the suffering of civilians in that country. “These strikes are harming civilians and are also a violation of the territorial integrity of an independent country,”

  • HELL YEA LONG LIVE THE USA DESTROY GADAFFI AND HIS FUCKING TROOPSS!!!!!!!

  • US-EU coalition has intervened and invaded a sovereign nation again. If UN Security council declared a No-Fly Zone", then US-EU coalition should have shot down flights fly in No-Fly-Zone Libya without destroying Libyan military and economical assets. People build their nations from sweat and blood of generations. Americans and Europeans keep destroying assets other nations and protect their own. UN should be held responsibile and accountable on its decisions, actions and consequences of both.

  • UN didnt do anything for illegal Iraq invasion by USA. The cities were bombarded and assets were destroyed but not compensated. The same perpetrators have repeated their aggression on another nation, Libya. If UN wanted to stop civillian killings in Libya, then it should only allow US-EU to shoot flights in no fly zone (without hidden texts). It is the coalition's responsibility to maintain a No Fly Zone without going offensive.

  • On the other UN should have sent a peace keeping force or use some other diplomatic means. The UN resolution has purposely misguided and misinterpreted UN state members and other concerned parties(for interests of US-EU. It granted military attacks to destroy assets. There must be credible independent investigations in attack on Libya and those destructions should be compensated.

  • Arab League says it endorsed a No-fly zone above Libya and not military attacks on Libyan assets. If UN Security council resolution declared No-Fly Zone", then US-EU coalition should have shot down flights fly over Libya and without destroying Libyan military and economical assets. It is the coalitions responsibility to maintain a No Fly Zone. The UN resolution is purposely misguided and misinterpreted UN state members and other concerned parties .

  • Jamming unshielded electronics, International partners, ordinance, drones, awacs, who besides the coalition has these wonderful toys? No one. Now think back, say, to Sept. 11, 2001. Theories of external enemies are getting thinner with each campaign to "make the world safe for democracy". You protect us from "them"; who protects us from you?

  • When this is all over, the allies will be in possession of Libya's oil.

We are not being told the truth.

    9/11 was an inside job.

  • Arab League was mis informed at UN. They said only No fly zone. They didnt endorsed attack on anti-air craft guns or other military targets. They should have shot down flight in No-Fly zone, should have been offensive to Libya. This is a matter of interference to a sovereign naion by another member state. Americans are wrong to destroy the assets of another nation without been attaked. There should be investigations of this crusade. Putting is right, he dares to tell USA

  • @NoEalamInSL The point is, Ghadaffi is a tyrant, and there is no place in this world for tyrants, Libya's people want democracy, and Ghadaffi killing his own people is enough to take action against him.

  • @lChaell,Gadhafi at Arab League, March2008: 'Where is the Arabs' dignity, their future, their very existence?’ and observed, ‘Everything has disappeared’.'Our blood and our language may be one, but there is nothing that can unite us, (reported to have mocked a plan by the Arab League to start Arab cooperation on a joint nuclear programme) How can we do that? We hate each other, we wish ill of each other and our intelligence services conspire against each other. We are our own enemy."

  • Gadhaffi protected Libya from drug addicted youngsters. Allies supplied resources to seperatists to divide Libya. When Gadhafi took action to stop waves of ME-democratic uprisings in Libya, Allies bombarded Libyan economic and military targets to get rid of Gadhafi and to steal oil and look for new markets. Just like they did in Iraq, they eliminated those who stand in their ways. The worst part is, IC didnt even care to question USA abt compensation for damage during illegal Iraq war.

  • The worst part is the international community didnt even care to question about compensation from USA for the damage they have done during illegal Iraq war. So they dared to repeat the political mafia just after 8yrs of Iraq war. Amercans are assured by IC that they will not face war crimes tribunals for their aggression to any nation.

  • so CNN is now giving away the tactics the U.S military will use against Libya?wtf

  • All of you pussy hippies who are always crying over war have no idea what this world would be like if there wasnt authority. If these people couldnt be punished for the shit they do then they would continue to do it and shit would get worse. So war is meaningfull. So deal with it. If this guy would of played ball then we wouldnt be shoving rockets up there asses. So fuck off hippies and go do some lsd and try to save the rain forest.

  • the news keep giving the enemy some intelligences of whats new and where too attack and drones spys

  • All white countries attacking a non-white country....what's new?

  • (21Mar2011.CNN) Russian gov said the mission has killed innocent civilians and urged more caution, "nonmilitary" targets were being bombed, including a cardiac center. India, China and Venezuela have also spoken out against the airstrikes.Arab League: "The resolution by the Arab League addressed ... the issue of a no-fly zone and the request by the U.N. Security Council to establish this zone..But beyond that, the participation is a matter of sovereign decision by any member state."

  • Russia will represent Libya at a special UN Security Council discussion Monday night, being held at Libya's request. Since the no-fly zone was imposed on Libya over the weekend, no Libyan officials will be able to leave the country to attend the meeting, and as Libya is not a member of the Security Council, it must be represented by a member country. Russia, along with China, Brazil, and Germany, abstained in the vote to authorize intervention in the country over the weekend.

  • MOSCOW, March 20 (Reuters) - Russia called on Britain, France and the United States on Sunday to stop air strikes against what it said were non-military targets in Libya, saying the attacks had caused civilian casualties. "In that respect we call on countries involved to stop the non-selective use of force," Foreign Ministry spokesman Alexander Lukashevich said in a statement. Lukashevich said 48 civilians were reported to have been killed and 150 wounded in the air strikes.

  • UN, USA, EU say there is no democracy in Libya. Gadhafi kills civillians. So they sent democracy to Libya with rockets and bullets. killed even more civillians. They say they didnt target Gadhafi. They pin-pointed a Tomahawk misile to Gadhafi compound in Tripoli. They said Arab League endorsedUN reolusion. Arab league says they didnt endorsed bomabardments. We urge UNHRC to conduct an independent investigations cimes in Libya by USA, EU. Ceasefire! Stop civillian killings in LIbya!

  • 21 march 2011. UNHRC/Navi Pillai, Please make notes in your UNHRC agenda Libyan masacres by USA and EU. During last stage of Sri Lanka war against most rulthless terrorist group LTTE (proscribed in USA, EU); EU,USA, UN and UNHRC criticised Sri Lanka for civillian casualites killed in war. Blamed for targeted air attacks on LTTE. You brought resolutions in UNHRC and UN Security council calling war crime investigation against GOSL . We look forward same for cimes done in Libya by USA, EU.

  • We Want Oil ! ! ! !

  • they are playing games!

    omg

  • Good luck to UN and free people of Lybia. May they reach their freedom and put this dictator on the crimes he had commited

  • GET SOME, YEAHHHH!

  • MARCH LIES FROM 1999-2011: Yugoslavia, Iraq, Libya. Beware the lies of March. Back in March 1999 we were told that we had to intervene because the Yugoslav leader, Slobodan Milosevic, was "set on a Hitler-style genocide equivalent to the extermination of the Jews during world war two". That wasn't true. In March 2003 we were told that we had to invade Iraq, because Saddam had WMDs that "could be activated within 45 minutes". That wasn't true either.

  • @NoEalamInSL It was true that Slobodan Milosevic's forces were engaged in ass slaughter. Don't worry about this one. US is not in the wrong now. The media always sucks, and Bush destroyed our reputation forever, but Arabs really do want us to help in Libya. I actually speak Arabic and have friends in North Africa. They love the US in Morroco, Tunisia, and even Algeria. Dont listen to bullshit. The Libyans want this. Believe me.

  • @newmanfrigan, Libya shouldnt have been attacked. None of business of US-EU. They wanted same to Sri Lanka too. But the resolusion died at UN. If US-EU is so interested of human casualties why didnt send a peace keeping force? Why didnt attack the neighbouring conuntries who killed protestors? why only Libya? The reason is: politics is all about principles and power. Two should be balanced. When principles like democracy (dictator), power like oil. An opportunity for pirates to grab the chance.

  • USA doesnt have enough money for war? War is the income for USA. Thats why they go for war to generate money. 1 missile cost US $1 Million. The cost of missiles and other military expenses will be duducted from UN and Libya. The destroyed Libyan millitary assets will be replaced with purchase of new weapons from USA. Just like they did in Iraq- food for oil. They dont go for war from own pocket. They steal from other nationss. This a monopoly game.

  • You are seeing only black and white. Russia sells them weapons, and France, Italy and UK need their oil. You just say what you "feel", but unfortunately it's bullshit. Gaddhafis (now Libyan) oil has been cheap and easily accessible to Italy anf France & UK since the rapprochement of 2004. Now it'll cost more to buy, because the people will have a little more say. US imperialism sucks, it does exist, but this isnt US imperialism.Dumb people can't see subtlety. US does BOTH good and bad.

  • The British submarine involved in the operation, codenamed Operation Ellamy by the UK military, was the 130-crew HMS Triumph. It can carry up to 30 weapons, including Tomahawk missiles and heavy torpedoes. The Royal Navy bought 65 Tomahawks in 1995 at a cost of $1 million (£650,000) each from U.S. defence firm Raytheon Systems. Two American destroyers, the USS Barry and USS Stout, have been deployed with their support vesseles.

  • According to a Pentagon source, each carries up to 96 Tomahawk missiles. He added: ‘The total number of Tomahawks in our inventory is classified but I don’t think there’s any danger of running out. The bigger danger is we know virtually nothing about who’s going to control Libya after we wipe out Gaddafi.’

  • Two amphibious assault ships, the USS Ponce and USS Kearsarge, carrying 1,600 Marines, anti-missile defence systems and helicopter fleets, were also off the Libyan coast, as was the command support vessel USS Mount Whitney. An aircraft carrier, USS Enterprise, equipped with up to 70 fighter planes, was reported to be heading for the area.British jets are performing a range of tasks, with RAF Tornados aiming at targets on the ground, Typhoon fighters performing air combat sorties...

  • British RAF Tornados aiming at targets on the ground, Typhoon fighters performing air combat sorties, and AWACS planes and Sentinel R1s helping with mapping the ground and reconnaissance. It is understood they will be based in southern Italy under the overall command of the United States naval base in Naples. Three US submarines carrying Tomahawk missiles were in the Mediterranean poised to bombard Libya’sair defences and runways to enforce the no-fly zone, according to a defence official.

  • Signalling the start of the international offensive, French warplanes took off in the afternoon from their base at Saint-Dizier in eastern France. The French aircraft fired the first shots at 4.45pm.

At RAF Marham in Norfolk, Tornado GR4 bombers were prepared by ground crews from early morning. Lorries carrying missiles were taken to the shelters where the Tornados are housed. Shortly after 8pm, a pair of GR4s were seen preparing to take off.

  • Similar preparations were made at RAF Coningsby in Lincolnshire, where Typhoons were spotted yesterday. Two 1,500mph Tornado jets fromRAF Lossiemouth in Scotland were flown to Marham just before 11.30am to join the massive build-up. Later, two warplanes, F-15 Strike Eagle ground-attack jets, took off from nearby Lakenheath, from where US planes left in 1986 to bomb Libya. Meanwhile, Canada has committed six F-18 fighter jets. Spain is deploying a submarine, a frigate and a surveillance plane.

  • @NoEalamInSL Good for them. It's a good thing. For once.

  • Obama is such a war monger!!!!!!!

  • sound so stupid saying that. How many Libyans do you know?Do you speak arabic? No stupid,if you did you wouldnt say something so ignorant. Ispeak Arabic in the dialects of Maghreb and Bedu. Don't you want to know what they REALLY say? You're very pathetic and stupid.Do you know who the real warmongers are?George "made the world hate US forever" Bush, Gaddhafi (terrorist, murderer, dictator, torture).Do you want to read his Green Book and memorize it, have a 42yr dictatorship as well?

  • Fuck Gadaffi

  • It ´s funny how he gave himself away by saying number 1 the most important part of the country this is where the Oil, Gas resources are and people.

  • @Neomundus It's true. For the Libyan people especially. They do not want the Megolomaniac Gaddhafi to destroy the oil infrastructure rather than give up power. He will try too. Then the Libyans would have less than nothing to live from. Meaning farming in the sand and foreign aid with chains on it.
