This is Totakastakam composed by Totakaacharya (One of the main 4 disciples of Sankaraacharya) .With the help of anugraha from Shankaracharya, totakacharya composed 8 verses, praising his Guru's vijayaas. Lyrics are available :
The day we recognize and realize what we are, thats the day we will learn that theres no reason or motive to hate or kill each other. That day Mother Nature will be happy and proud of the burden she bears, that beautiful process called life.
o the ocean of campassion! save me whose heart is tormented by the misery of the sea of birth! make me understand the truths of all the schools of philosophy! be thou my refuge o master, sankara
o thou, the knower of all the milk-ocean of scriptures! the expounder of the topics of great upanisadic treasure-trove! on thy faultless feet i meditate in my heart. be thou my refuge o master, sankara
Frank, a Shishya from His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, Divine Disciple from His Divinity Bhagavam Swami Brahmanada Saraswati Maharja, Jagad-Guru Shri Shankaracharya of Jyothir Math, Badariksharam-Himalayas, the Seat of Trotakacharya, The Creator of this Divine Sloka in Honour of Shri Adhi Shankara (Shiva-Incarnatê).

Grow up!
u know whats so weird: a few years back i had to do a paper.. i was free in choosing its content and i choose a subject in mathmatics.. about d golden ratio.. and i found that d golden ratio is found in evry aspect of nature.. also in d universe.. and i listend to dis song everytime i worked on d paper.. and now u posted a vid with d song and d universe.. it immidiatly brought me back to that year when i made d paper... anywayz tnx 4 posting
ectually, not to break ur balls here but its..kinda 1,62 and yeah its everywhere thats why math fascinates me... and why i luv hinduism so much bcuz mathmatics and hinduism go hand in hand...
sugest you to read books on vedic mathematics and related work if you havnt got a chance to do it yet.Even the calculus had its origin in ancient times in india
thanx, well i have to admit i havent read a lot about Vedic mathmatics.. but i know math has its origin in ancient India... even the numbers we use today is invented by our ancestors istead of the Arabs(though with respect to Arabs)
it was first a theory of mine that Hinduism is based on mathmatics, but when i learned more about it i found out about Vedic mathmatics... i have also a personal theory about the gods.. for example that Shiv represents black holes in the universe... :p
hello this suprabatham...This is thotakashtakam recited by Adi Sankara for holy gurus and as said its not remixed by AR RAHAMAN but it comes in a album called SACRED CHANTS by kosmic musics. Sung By Uma and Gayatri.
Present generation needs these ancient and precious jewels, and its fine if we add the kaliyuga effects ( music, remix etc), to catch their attention.

i chant this shiva song everyday. It gives so much calm and peace in heart and mind. It is in praise of lord shiva.
lord shiva decides whether one should get Moksha or rebirth. take shiva's name everyday as many times,. it cleans our heart and purifies our soul.

Joetempest87,
Perché non ricordare il proprio business? Nessuno si preoccupa che cosa ne pensi. Passare da un pagano cattolica. Sei solo un bootleg (wannabe) indù

This is not Suprabhatam. This octad is Totakashtakam, by Totakacharya, disciple of Shankara.
Remix done by AR Rahman
