Thank you for posting this song. It's one of my very favourites by DDT, who happen to be one of my favourite bands. I first heard this song while in St. Petersburg a few years ago and instantly loved it.

I know this song for almost 20 yrs. I didn't know he was referring to Pushkin when he said alexander sergevich . Beautiful song. Also I thought the song meant the last autumn (as in the previous autumn ), didn't know it meant the final autumn. Spasibo!

Oh, haven't noticed the english lyrics, awesome!!!! this song reminds me of my childhood..... it's beautifull!!!! I remember I was recording it from the radio to the tape and then learning the lyrics and singing along with Shevchuk! ;)))  And the video is good, nice job that you've done to put it all together!!!

I don't know if this song's meant to just be about Pushkin but it makes me think of the fall of the Soviet Union and all the good/bad that came out of it. Especially the stanza about the autumn hurricane gets me every time.

@whatev12987 Well, it's tricky really. The song is not about any particular autumn, but rather about some hypotetical last autumn for Pushkin, I believe the last autumn before he died. So, maybe 'during last autumn' would be more accurate (without 'this').
