I remember the first time I saw em live was at The Odeon in Cleveland with Static X and Dope in '98...Man there was so much bass when they played that the rafters were literally visibly oscillating and my nads had that peculiar feeling one gets on a roller coaster. I expected a vampire to come out, and I was suprised that Pete sounded more like Sly Stone than Dracula, it was just epic. That show also got me into Static X. Only comparable show I saw was Pantera/anthrax. Man those were the days.

Of all the concert footage i've watched on youtube this 1997? performance is by far the best.. The sound is just awesome and the versions very good and Peter is noticably in much better health here than late 2000's performances. The October 2009 performances are particularly bad, with Peter needing cheat sheet lyrics, looking exhausted, heavy , bloated and in obvious poor health. ...so sad.. he died within 6 months of those.
