  • awesome

  • that's all we need it just becomes increasngly funnier

  • I understand hehe :) However, who knows what is true. For the sake of awesomeness, I hope that the one where he drowns is.

  • a british officer from the embassy. I cant remember his name. I read this in a book I was using for VCE Revolutions. The book I think was by Thomas Ryan. There's a box on the side of the main text that explains Rasputins death. He is a recognised historian for the Russian Revolution, and writes text books for VCE (Victorian Certificate of Education-year 12)

  • water in the lungs doesn't mean he drowned. He survived the poisioning because the cakes were poisioned before they were baked, and all the poision was rendered harmless. He was actually killed by a bullet to the head by a British officer, about the last shot fired.

  • ok gets his guts cut out by some prostotute gos down to the palce gets poisned but dosnt die so they shoot him dosnt die tries to strangle a guy hobles shot twice more kicked in the head and beat thrown into a river and dies RIGHT?

  • Who knows? He might STILL be alive somewehere.......

  • during the Febuary revolution they dug up his corpse and burnt it. As it was burning it seemed to sit up and the people were afraid he was coming back to life.

  • RA RA

  • i really like to know the real story of this "rasputin" its sounds interesting!!??

  • ok so basicaly he was a king and the men wanted him dead becaus he liked women and stole all thei women so they tried to poison him but he herd about wat they were gunna do so every day he drank a little bit of poison and he became imune so when they gave him the poison nothing happened and then they shot him to death ........ there :)

  • lol :)

  • sort of he was the kings advisor (Tsar nicholas 2) and basically the kings friends were worried that he was ruining russia so they killed him

  • 1. Not a king.

    2. Had previously survived his stomach being knifed open.

3.Survived the 6 shots after the poison.

    4. Had to be clubbed to death, tied in a sack, and tossed into a river.

  • and still survived

  • According to here-say and the autopsy's reports (not that accurate at the time) he was poisoned w/ a large dose of cyanide, and then shot once in the back of the head. He stood up and attempted to strangle his shooter, whose comrades proceeded to beat Rasputin severely. He was shot three times more in the back, bound, and thrown into the icy Neva River. His body was recovered hands outstretched, clawed through the ice. Water in his lungs suggests drowning as the actual cause of death.

  • g23rose is correct... there is fairly little known for certain about how Rasputin died.

    Known for sure is that:

    A) He was attacked by a prostitute and had his entrails cut out (recovered after surgery... prior to later murder)

B)He was shot four times and then thrown into a frozen river.

    'Legend' of death below VV

  • Much of the legend of his death can be easily discredited, and is viewed skeptically by historians.

According to his daughter, Rasputin after recovering from having his entrails cut out, didn't eat sweets or sour foods including cakes and wines which contained the supposed fatal cyanide, so no poison for him.

Flooded lungs could result from pierced lungs due to bullet wounds. Him sitting up during cremation is likely due to contracting tendons as the body is heated (you're sup. to cut them).

  • Turisas is better. Just saw them live.

  • lol me two where did u see them?

  • At the fillmore in manhatan.

  • This song got me a PhD in History.

  • serious?

  • Care to elaborate?

  • ra ra rasputin, lover of the russian queen!

Ra ra rasputin, russia's greatest love machine!

It's so funny, but it helped me with Advanced Placement European History.

  • Ah! I just took that yesterday! Pretty awesome huh?

  • wtf mean rasputin ?

  • Love it :) But the song it wrong

They shot him like 4 times but he lived

So they had to throw him into the river where he died of hypothermia :o

  • They dont know that for sure.. its a mystery how he really died

  • He got tied up in a sac and got thrown into a river, that is what killed him

  • He arose from the river though D:

  • rofl

  • ra ra dadadada
