The sad truth is that DOCS has strayed. It was designed to protect children while helping the parents get on track and in severe cases where help is not realistic place them with loving families.It is outrageous that your case resulted in the loss of your child.I do not know the facts in your case but I do know there needs to be better safety measures in foster care homes.Far to many children die in care and it is not enough to justify it with an oh well we tried.I am truly sorry for ur loss

It is almost three years, and they still havent had the inquest. There was a pre inquest conference a month ago, which started with DoCS lies, I was connected by phone, and called them all a bunch of liars and hung up. I am leaving that side of things to my solicitor and dealing with it in my own way. The judge at the conference found that it still has not been investigated properly and ordered further investigations. There is another pre inquest conference 15.12.11

No matter what I did, Luke did not deserve to be treated this way. His head smashed in and left to die, and then his death swept under the carpet.
