He says that if you claim that Peter used a secretary then you have to provide evidence for it. If Peter didn't know greek and he wanted to write a letter in greek and he was with Silas, Timothy, and Luke, who all knew greek, it would only make logical sense to dictate your letters to them! He states at the end of I Peter that he wrote the letter with the help of Silas (I Peter 5:12). So Ehrman's arguments are erroneous.

Bart Ehrman is not very consistent. If you watch Ehrman's interview with Infidelguy about the historicity of jesus he clearly states that everyone who wrote epistles in the ancient world used scribes. Here he says that there is no evidence that people used scribes.
