If the technium can be given value training, those values will be much the same as given to corporations: plunder everything as much as possible such that the profit of the very rich are expanded. Except that now the value will include: defense of nature for the sake of the rich and against the useless eaters.

I find irony in the idea of the human race passing on something that it cannot truly comprehend (values) to a new life form, and trying to manage that. I would like to see a human provide a truly logical rationale for a given value system. I think global consciousness is a key missing component, and I have serious doubts that humans have the capacity for it.
