this is incredible....only Andrew W.K. could pull something like this off and actually make it sound not too bad. I just can't believe how fast his hands are moving. just watch from 1:35 onwards and pay attention to his hands they warp from one key to the other. The camera cant catch up....lol

This is absolutely terrible. I enjoy "weird" atonal music, I enjoy improvisational jazz, I like Piano. This guy falls under neither, and is essentially like a child hitting the piano and being amazed at what comes out so he just continues to do it. The fact that anybody thinks this is even close to good makes me want to cry for the world of music.

It's like modernism in the early 1900's, it does something new by taking what people wouldn't normally call art and calling it art; it's taking art to the limit.

What he is doing rhythmically is very interesting, and he is playing the instrument incredibly percussively- a way it is not normally approached.

I think this is art because its a method he uses to express himself. it's nothing that happens accidentally, it is an improvisation, which means it is not planned or something but everything happens by purpose an is inspired by his thoughts, feelings and knowlege. And through the music he shares this very private aspects of his characters with all the listeners..

isn't that what art is all about? to me it is...

This is just Andrew being Andrew. I don't think he was trying to be obscure and artistic or "modern" hahaha but people put a lot of thought into things the artist themselves probably feel indifferent towards. who knows.
