The only talent these judges seem to ever consider is singing, music or dancing. These Marines played well considering the short time they were given to perform. But the Swiss Secret Drum Corps is still better ;)

I just... being in Marching band, I cant really appreciate the actual musical aspect of this. They have amazing sticking, and they play well, but I would have LOVED to see a Tenor player in there, it would have added to the sound <3

I think they were really good, but there drums didnt really contribute to the preciseness of the music. Look up 2011 Cavaliers Quad break, that is high quality drumming with good stunts that dont take away from the music, not to mention that they're properly tuned :D and i think that i'd rather watch Britans got talent with americas got talent judges. anyone agree?

It's a shame the audience forced the judges to withdraw their vote. You have to be into this kind of thing I personally found it terribly boring! The audience liked them mainly 'cos they're marines that's all!!

It's disgrace that despite the audience forcing them to retract their nos, they still decided not to put them through to the semi finals. I was watching the Tattoo some years ago and saw the military perform an act very similar to this and everyone in the stadium loved it, a bad move to say no.

Very average, Dirty Drumming (not tight), check out some DCI Drumlines, search for Blue Devils, Cavaliers, Santa Clara Vanguard, Cadets.....etc.. thats proper drumming! if you think these guys are good you'll be amazed by the DCI lines!

The whole thing was totally staged, BGT thinks we are all idiots. Of course they were going to go through, it was meant to give the show some suspense as they realise that the show is a dead duck without Simon and Piers. The Highwaymen could do well but as one observer pointed out check out the Top secret drum corps performance at the Edinburgh Tattoo, Now that is worth watching!!!! Ps Jai will win, he has star talent.

I avoid this tripe but I am a big fan of proper live music and the recommendation on the YouTube homepage piqued my interest. The act from our brave lads was great, the audience reaction shots ruined the visual rhythm and makes me glad that I never watched it on television. Ant and Dec's 'money or your life' gag and the sight of snare drums reminded me of Adam and the Ants. Maybe Amanda said she was bored because she hears similar rhythms at home from her husband who is an ex-Ant drummer:)
