The ending to this movie is sad. CS Lewis wrote the books to symbolize a Christians life. He made the characters to represent different types of Christians. Peter, Lucy, and Edmund all remembered Narnia in "The Last Battle" but Susan wanted no more to do with it. This is the last time she ever entered Narnia, the old Narnia and the new Narnia. She symbolizes the Christian that turns their back on God and walks away forever. That's why its sad. She never goes back with her siblings.
