  • I just bought these pedals today for 200$!!!, I love how they feel. they are pretty light and fast but the beaters that they came with are pretty crappy.. im gonna get some Pearl Eliminator beaters for them pretty soon.. and i agree with @rjplaysmusic ....these pedals should of been direct drive. Awesome pedals though, I would recommend them

  • This was the best job Tama ever done, this pedals could enter in competition with the famous Axis pedals.

  • Fuckin Nice pedal ima get one!!! DAMN!!!\m/

  • Can someone tell me when Left footed speed cobras are being released!? :(

  • Well, mine was £310 (Great Britain)

  • I really think that the only direct drive pedals that can beat this one are the trick pedals. I played on axis and demon drive pedals, and they just didn't feel right. A friend of mine has trick dominators, and those are the only direct drive pedals that feel right to me. Speed cobras, on the other hand, are perfect for me. Affordable, fast, and powerful!

  • this guy must have big hands, because the pedals look small compared to his hand, lol, so much for advertising long footboards, awesome pedals though, might be getting the tonight.

  • I FUCKING LOVE THIS GUY!!!!!

  • Direct drive pedals are overrated. You can get more speed with a direct drive only if you lift up your foot just as fast! Not to mention the loss of power with a direct drive v. chain drive. I don't know of any drummer who can overplay a chain drive pedal so fast that he NEEDS a direct drive. If you study basic physics, you'll understand why a chain drive pedal is a much more efficient means of energy transfer than a direct drive and also how much more similar it is to hand technique.

  • The left slave beater wobbles back and forth, average pedal for $400. i own it,not impressed.

  • @000passive000 its fucking stupid 599 i got it for 360 at my store

  • I would totally recommend these. My friend has these pedals and there the best thing my feet have ever touched. :DD

All i have is pearl P902..... xD

  • I brought mine about a week and 5 days ago, I'm still in the states (live in the UK) and i still haven't had the chance to test them out! i've had to pack them in my case just so i stop getting them out of the hardcase! Tama have really pushed the boat out this time! The pedal looks fantastic, & i keep hearing awesome things! Check my channel in a few days time for my test run :)

  • I just bought one. Holy shit. The pedal has So much power, but it doesnt take too much to make it. Its smooth. Its loud. It also mirrors HOW you play, not just WHAT you play. This is better than axis. This is better than demon drives. This is the kind of pedal i would pay 700 for. It is what a double/single pedal should be.

(P.s. For all metal drummers. THIS IS THE GREATEST PEDAL ON THE MARKET)

  • These pedals are better than the axis pedals, these are faster and they look a little longer, cool design too. cheaper too. i played these at the guitar center and i compared it with my axis and the speedcobras were better

  • Some drummers prefer the feel of a chain drive over direct drive. Personally, I didn't like the Axis pedals that much, buy the Pearl Demon Drive was awesome.

  • tama offers the worst drum pedals that you could buy...!! i hate them, they are not fast...they are simply like a tank chain!!

  • tama offers the worst drum pedal that you could buy...!! i hate them, they are not fast...they are simply like a tank chain!!

  • @chr1za130k actually they already came out my local guitar center has them. I have to say they're lighter than powerglides or dw 9000 but I'd much rather take a direct drive any day

  • i played these at guntar center omg dude they would stop hitting me in the god damn ankle

  • Direct Drive is like only metal parts no chain and all right? And If i'm right, that really owns chains :)

  • I like how people are saying they tried these even though they don't come out till oct 28th lol!

  • Comment removed

  • I tried these yesterday. They're $600 and I like my DW 5000's I've had for 5 years better than these and Pearl Eliminators :P

  • @kshensley11

I have DW 5000s, DW 9000s and eliminators.... this might sound cliche, but the eliminators really are the best. The 9000s are smooth and quick, the 5000s are rugged and strong, but the pearl is just faster and a little easier to control. It does lack the punch of the DWs however.

  • Oh, you mean the shiny iron cobras?

  • They look great, but i dont think they're greatly developed technology-wise, compared to the Demon Drives. But, i dont know, i could be wrong and just didnt talk much about the technology in this video.

  • this is relitivly cheap to the shitty pearl demon drives

  • MAN !!!!!! Thats sexy :P

  • @000passive000 Again, that is just the MSRP or List price from the manufacturer. This video was created at the NAMM trade show before the item was available. George's Music's price is $399 for the double pedal and $179 for the single.

    Thanks for watching!

  • @GeorgesMusic can i get this pedal at malaysia?

  • id rather buy the gibraltar for 280. its a direct drive and all you need to do is change the ebaters. than it works fine.

  • i can get it for $319 at my local drum store

  • tell the guitarist to stfu!

  • Is that 399.00 for a single or double pedal?

  • @drummingman $399 for the double. Looking at about $179 for the single.

    Get it at George's Music!

  • the trick pedal is 800$

  • how good wouldn't it be if you could like take to your set a pair of axis long pedals, iron cobra and speed cobra. and like only get to try them out before you have to decide witch ones you are going to by!! the iron and speed cobra pedals are much cheaper tho!!

  • ... a bit expensive....

  • To all: This is a video Live from the NAMM convention floor at the Tama booth. The price on the sign is Tama's MSRP or suggested retail price. This item will sell on the street for about $399.

  • @GeorgesMusic

isnt that pretty much the same as most hardware these days? i know the demon drives are selling in-store for 200 less than the SRP.

  • 599?!?!?!?!?!!? fuck that

  • Demon Eliminator or Speed Cobra?

  • @deathdrummerwild well depends wat do u play now?

  • @deathdrummerwild IRON COBRA

  • already on sale for 400 dollars in zzound

  • these should be direct drive..

  • @rjplaysmusic

    they should have both

  • I want these pedals sooooo bad!

  • Found some sites that have them priced at $399.99 w/ the case... And they have them coming out on 9/17/10! All pre-orders right now... I wouldn't mind getting my hands on them, though!

  • DANG! $600!!!! I'd better start saving for that one..... yeah!! tama all d way

  • send me one now. haha!

  • it looks so smooth

  • Damn thats a sexy pedal!

  • Fuck, Tama is the best. kicks pearls and DW's ass so fucking hard.

  • when do these new pedals come out!? :)

  • @ArcticTyLeR13 Well, at least in Germany the're out, as far as I know.

  • ไหลลื่นๆๆ

  • Lol, It's heavenly fast and wickedly loud.

  • Na, demon drives all the way. This is just an iron cobra sprayed silver

  • The original is better.

  • thats sexy

  • what George? Kollias?? yeah!

  • lol, my name is george. this looks too expensive though, ill stick with iron cobras till the price drops, for that price i can get axis or demon drives.

  • @Ggevorkyan the list price is only $20 more than the power glides. the market price will probably be less.

  • @RagingImpetus really? i thought that was like the price id pay at the store, well thats great, id definitely get this then.
