Nice tractor. Pulling stumps is very dangerous though, especially in a tractor with out a ROPS. That's why "agriculture" is the most dangerous profession in america. More people are killed by tractors in farmwork than anything else, and the number one reason people die in tractors is because of a rear flip, usually from pulling stumps and the like. You're chance of surving a rear flip without a ROPS is 25%.

Hey that is a great idea on tying off the pull chain to the side of the stump! and get a twist and pull motion going!! great tip thanks, I have a John Deere diesel and it does a great job in low range on these stumps!
Something that might help, pops taught me this, tie that chain into a slip knot and put the "knot" around the side of the stump so when you pull it will twist the stump at the same time. Helps a bit. Nice video. I don't know shit about tractors, but I do like them!!!!
@mrlawntractorfan1 i never said it would go fast cocklicker. you clearly have no idea what your talking about. you just heard others say "diesels have more torque" so now you run around the internet spouting off about shit you dont understand.
@mrlawntractorfan1 your a dumb shit thats what im trying to tell you! i could put a 5 H.P. briggs and stratton in a dump truck, and with the appropriate gearing it would have all the torque in the world. my 50 hp GAS engine ford tractor will pull a new duramax diesel all over hell and back and it has little to do with torque.
@case580fowner why does my tractor go 2MPH in 1st gear, but will pull a house off its foundation? is it cuz of the engines torque or cuz its geared to the moon?
@asssface2000 your plan would work in a way, but what if your tractor had a minimum gear of 10mph and then your engine bogs down, then i would say you would be annoyed for not having the engine grunt (torque)
and thought i wished i gone off with a bigger engine.
@case580fowner some tractors top speed is 10mph. mine is 18mph in 10th gear. the gas engine makes 50 HP and prolly 100-150 ft-lbs of torque put my tractor against a brand new diesel 4x4 1 ton truck with 400+ ft-lbs of torque and my tractor will pull the pick-up down the road crying the whole way.
my tractor goes 18, the truck probly goes 140 MPH, theres TORQUE and theres GEARING.
@mrlawntractorfan1 I do have a diesel. not sure if you are familiar with the case/ingersoll line of tractors. the hydraulic (not hydrostatic) drive can put out about 14hp the rest of hp is used on the "mule" or belt drive for either snow caster or deck. still ofcourse the extra hp is beneficial for less bog downs. great system :) cant go wrong :D
cool man! i do that sort of stuff with my farmall 140.

@asssface2000 i think what mrlawntractorfan1 is trying to say is the engines ft-lb not the gearing.
but i do agree that most diesels do have more engine ft-lb than petrols, even if they are rated at the same h.p

@mrlawntractorfan1 stfu retard. its more about gearing than what your torque specs are.
