I've never heard the words "mud" and "violation" so much in 5 minutes. The eerie music really makes the mud look evil. I hope the county/police see this video and write you a ticket for jay walking on Redland Rd since you didn't walk back up to the crosswalk on Muncaster to cross the street
FYI - It is illegal for ANY MUD to leave a construction site in the State of Maryland. Construction companies and others call it "Sediment". Sediment is the #1 source of pollution into the Chesapeake Bay.
Actually it is written as FACT! All the studies that the state did said it won't reduce traffic. Actually all the studies said it would make all the roads worse with much more traffic. Georgia, Connecticut, even the Beltway will all have more traffic as a result of the ICC. Mind you this isn't my opinion, but the Maryland Department of Transportation. And that's a fact!
What brave people...going out in the middle of traffic to show us...MUD in the road?
Cutting down trees...during global warming? Montgomery County BASTARDS!!! We should use tens of thousands of gallons of water washing bulldozer tires!!!
you people are the reason the ICC is over budget and taking for ever to build. All you do is complain. Let these guys do their job and shut up!!! STOP crying. We need the ICC. For years traffic has suffered a along Goodhope/Bel Pre road.
Studies have shown very little traffic relief from the ICC. It will also be a toll road. Why must you use aggressive and rude language when addressing people who are engaged in the political process? Look into your heart and be gentle with your words. Perhaps you can persuade rather than attack?
If you want to improve traffic at Goodhope/Bel Pre then the ICC isn't the answer. All the OFFICIAL studies in support of the ICC said that it would make traffic worse on almost all the roads around the ICC.
We aren't "crying" as you call it. We are attempting to make the State and the construction companies follow the laws that are here to protect the Chesapeake Bay and our drinking water.
Sediment from construction projects and uninforced regulations are a major contrubutor of the silting up of the Blandensburg waterfront and Anacostia River. The ICC is an unnecessary road that studies have said will not reduce traffic on the capital beltway or work for National Security Both reasons given for building. What it WILL do is increase development and make KONTERRA work. A major development on the site of depleated gravel mine operations, in NW PG County. Tax $ at work.
While I neither endorse or oppose the building of the ICC, Montgomery County, MD has overlooked regulations regarding sediment and silt fencing for years. The worst I ever saw was the building of the King Farm development.
If you don't think it's a big deal, sediments washing into the creeks and streams that feed the bay have driven Atlantic Sturgeon from the Chesapeake Bay - where most of them spawned.
