  • @chinooks Not really a suicide if they're all alive, lol.

  • loooooooook... she's got a helmet >> 0:43

  • wtf there is no single line and police is just standing there.

  • 2 words I can think of right now.... cluster fuck

  • whoah!!! they are using PHASE BOOTS!

  • that fucking gangster yo!!!

  • lol!

  • TP HCM = Tội Phạm Hồ Chí Minh

  • freaking amazing, they cross right in front of others but no accident.

  • we get used to it hhaha skillful drivers

  • i live on this street haha

  • one law 40klm per hour speed limit thats it and now must wear helmuts eg: an ice cream bucket with a sting is legaly a helmut go figure

  • haha i rode those before in vietnam im only 11 lol

  • asians are good drivers lol

  • I went there for first time in May 2008. The traffic is very daunting for the first few days, but after that, I was confident to cross the road in that type of traffic condition.

The trick is make eye contact with the driver , steadily cross the road and do not make any sudden unpredictable movements.

  • crazy

  • amazing lol

  • i went there this summer and ur right vietnam is crazy and i also got to drive a bike called a nuovo on the country side and i am 13!

  • Is there the traffic law in Sai Gon? Where are the policeman? Does this situation last forever?

  • Is there a traffic law? What do you think? God Lord, they just have a lot of people the DO have a law! what do you spect them to do? to tie people around trees so they dont travel and stuff? geez! they are not monkeys! hahahahahaha

btw amazing video! I wanna go there sometime and see this for myself! (:

great upload, too bad there are people who think our saigon brothers do not have a law! hahahaha dork (:

  • if you look closely, you can see a few cops in the left corner of the video

  • I know the cop wearing the jungle hat he said"Traffic is slow today I'll be mad if I don't catch me a speeder."

  • wow, thats insane

  • Exectly like in Italy!

  • Where do all these people go to pee with all this traffic mess?

  • now thats crazy.

  • There only going like 5-15 km/h so not that dangerous

  • Ah I can recognise the police officer asked me for money instead of getting traffic fine

  • The problem was made from the bad government.

  • is ths for real? looks dangerous!

  • ya thats what i said after i went to bangkok. if that happened here in canada people would be fist fighting in the streets. you cut one person off here and they lose theyre mind

  • And now u see how good Vietnamese is. It's trivial if you have good traffic & no accident. Our traffic suck but there is still no accident =)) Vietnamese is the best driver in the world :))

  • No accients? We both know thats not true =)

  • driver? you couldnt possibly call these scooter riders "drivers" can you... lol anyone can ride a scooter well.. :D

im just thinking how im gonna cross the street while i visit vietnam.......

  • same as Hai Phong :)

  • Hi Nguyen, hello from Germany! Well, I thought this traffid situation would be only in the hiuge cities like Saigon and Hanoi but due to your comment it seems to be everywhere. Anyway, I enjoyed my vacations to Vietnam alot.

By the way, I do have a colleague, who was born and raised up in Hai Phong till the age of 6. This year it will be her first time to be back in her country and city.

    Have a good time, #

    regards

    Guenter

  • well, Hai Phong is sort of a big city (population 1,700,000), and yes, the traffic is a bit better than Saigon. Tell your colleague to look at least eight ways before crossing the streets!

  • o.k I will do so. We will be in the north of Vietnam in November this year. Maybe we have the chance to pass Hai Phong to see it by ourselves.

    Take care,

    Guenter

  • you're right, traffic is just as bad in small towns like phan thiet, da lat, nha trang, etc. you can see why vietnam is one of the fastest growing economies in the world, people all around the country always have something to do and somewhere to go. one thing about vietnam is that it is never sleepy.
