I beg your pardon, but they don't typically teach Ukranian in the universities here. I am of Celtic heritage, but chose to learn Russian, since it was offered at the University I attended.
@12stel: I meant no insult whatsoever. I have been learning a lot about the arts of other countries via YouTube. As I understand it, the Ukranian language is a Slavic language similar to Russian, which is all I know. I meant no disrespect whatsoever.
Next time I hear someone bitching about Commie Russians, I'll just send them here. On second thought, they wouldn't get it. Oh well, their loss, not mine! LOL. I never saw any of this before today, but it looks like a whole lot of fun. I was thinking as I watched this about how it's similar to how people "break-dance" or whatever you call it, where the men take turns trying to outdo each other with crazy impossible moves. Pretty impressive, and fun to watch even.
Andriy,
Thank you. Great job! I will com this year to Malanka.

This was wonderful, I must travel to Dallas to see them next year! I'd say it in Russian, but I'm not going to mess with typing the Cyrillic.

@n68firebird Russian? Are you actually seeing the description? It is UKRAINIAN dancing, so Ukrainian language would be more appropriate
