  • Just about my favorite album (and I've got hundreds of them). My dad too (RIP) used to play this in the early '60s when we were kids and I've loved it ever since.

  • Great version of this song. The only other version I have is sung by Roy Rogers. Both are very touching.

Greetings, and thanks for commenting! Yes, Luboff is superb on this haunting, wistful song.

    Hello Peggy,

Thank you for commenting! I've loved this album for decades--it was one of the first I owned, in the '50s. I got a replacement copy for my uploading.

    Best Regards,

    David

  • Fantastic!

  • xarmil,

You're Welcome! Thanks so much for your comments--it's one of my favorite songs also. I've loved this album since I was in high school in the '50s. My dad (R.I.P.) too would put this on the turntable when he'd get back from work.

It's been great seeing how many people remember and enjoy these. And some new acquaintances too, I suspect.

    Best Regards,

    David

  • Long memories I have. I've listened to this vynil hundreds if not thousands of times and I think I still know the record by heart. This was one of my favourite songs.

    Thank you!
