  • I never thought I would become such a huge fan of a TV personality as I have Tony. It's funny because I really enjoy his rough edges and straight talk. Something missing in these celeb chefs. I hope he stays true to his principles. After reading Kitchen Confidential I have gained an even larger amount of respect and admiration for the guy. He is so much like me.. only a helluva lot cooler. LOL

  • The thing I really like about Tony's show is the cultural aspects of the people and the sheer awe and admiration Tony shows for these people. Just the way I feel when I travel. It's life changing. So, I hope he sticks to that aspect of his career more than anything else. I really hope he doesn't turn into Bobby Flay or any of those other guys/gals. They may have talents in the culinary world but he has "Real Guy" qualities the others don't have.

  • Cookbooks are fine. I have Le Halles cookbook. Not typical tho.. Tony is the man plain and simple. He will always be more appealing than Bobby Flay.
