If an army would actually step foot on our shores I can guarantee that tens of millions of Americans would step forward to fight (not only in the military but also the tens of millions of weapons our citizens possess). Sure we would lose a lot of people too, but in the end I am certain that intelligent fighting would win over brute force. An invading force would see a quagmire not seen in history.
