I can come up with a few Indian rulers- Chandra Gupta Mourya, Ashoka, Chola, Krishnadevaraya and so on. Many of them conquered whole India while some ruled Afganistan, Pakistan, India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia and parts of Indonesia.
