@eniac2007 It will takes about 16 minutes to reach you, because sunbeams itself takes around 8 minutes to reach the earth ;D Should be possible if the moon isn't that grany and if the beam is strong enough hehe.
@ninjafireball Sunbeams (light) takes about 8 minutes from the sun to the earth. This is from the earth to the moon and back, which is a much shorter distance.
Actually one of the Apollo missions visiting the moon left behind a special mirror which is now used to measure the exact distance between earth and moon. Sending a laserbeam which is reflected back give the current distance within centimeters. This takes 2-3 seconds.
Looks like a great product. So where the hell can I buy it? This video was made almost a year ago and I can find stories from September about it being shipped out, but I can't find any place that actually sells it.
Microvision needs a new Product Manager. Why doesn't he emphasize immediately what differentiates the Show WX from other pico projectores (laser, fiddle-free) before being prompted by the interviewer.
The iPhone has TV output, but you need to buy one of the available AV cables. The cables are very expensive (about 50$) There is a cable for composite (yellow RCA) or component video (three multi colored RCA plugs).
No Doubt. Apple must have like a 2000% markup on those from the cost of making them in china or wherever they're made. You can get knockoffs, but apparently apple changed something in the software (on purpose or accident?) and some of them no longer work.
i have bell tv, so i can watch live hockey and tv shows on my iphone, if i buy this will it work for the live tv?

The lines are just the re-fresh rate normally you wouldn't see them with the human eye - so it's fine.

i see anoying screen lines or something on the picture, am im correct?
SonOfTheSystem 1 year ago
@SonOfTheSystem That happens when you shoot video of a video projection sometimes. And this is a 2-year-old demo model.
macmostvideo 1 year ago
The lines are not really there, its the video camera trying to keep up with the projected image.
