TX Moshi William, a man with blue Chelsea (fly emirates) jersey died on 29th March 2006. He was one of Tanzania's great musicians of all the time. R.I.P Moshi.
GREAT song, great video,EXCEPT for the parts when he pushes the ex-girlfriend around like that,it seems cruel.A certain degree of forgiveness,or civility is called for in a breakup between a man and a woman, the pushing of the woman onto the ground seems a bit sad,no?
Soukous70...you are 100% right, I couldn't agree more. To some extent it shows how that dude (man) is fed up with that woman...it's funny but that's how most African men treat their exes...sad but it remains a taboo back there.
I suppose you are right, after all,my grandmother was treated very badly by my grandfather, and it wasn't seen as an outrageous thing. I suppose seeing it in a video, with children standing by,affected me a bit,but I am sure it affected my father, and as a result,he never did such acts himself,so this is how we grow as humans, best of luck to us all!
Soukous, are you by any chance a human right activist? You seem to be very touched by some of the stupid things Africans find as humorous. You are right, and I do side with you here about the action taken by this dude in the video!
No,friend,I'm not an 'activist' in any way,but I will take that as a compliment! I just think that women, especially in music videos,no matter what country of origin, are portrayed in a somewhat sad way. I ts just one of those things, where one culture could learn from the next, and vice versa,we all have golden treasures to share and learn from...
No,cerytainly not a 'feminism' issue.A real man will take a slap (or shove)from a woman, whether it is deserved or not. A real man does not slap or shove a woman, whether it is deserved or not. Perhaps this is a cultural diffrence. If it is merely a cultural diffrence, then so be it. But,which seems more honorable?
According to me, the two are highly deplorable. In most cases it is a question of person who feels he or she is elevated in the society. I have a practicle case of a senior female civil servant who used to slap her juniors for petty reasons. There is always too much hullabaloo for domestic violence directed to women but when women beat up men nobody seems to care. I know it is a question of culture because some societies believe a real man can not be beaten by a woman.
An excellent point, women often do beat up their husbands or boyfriends, and it rarely gets reported, mainly because of the feeling of embarassment by the man. So you are right on that point. I dont think society doesnt care, but yes, most societies make a man feel too shamed to talk about it,so it stays a secret.
very good

I agree with your feelings but what do you have to say about the woman who pushes the man in "KAZA MOYO" clip? Is it just a question of feminism???
