  • 0:03 i always thought that horse had weird proportions. tiny legs and a huge body, you know.

  • Fa Mulan....

  • XDDD ha ha I see what you did there disney Think you can use the undertaker in the song

  • Gotta watch the whole movie now

  • If it weren't for the cricket, she would've been married off

  • i love mulan.!<3 :D

  • God I love Mulan...unlike most of the Disney Princesses (excluding Belle), she is tough, smart, and peronsable...seriously I think she's the most beautiful of all the Disney female protagonists, not just for looks but what she represents.

  • "scarier then the undertaker"......who else thought of black butler? :D

  • @snowymoonpaw

*Raises hand* i did. i imaged just standing there grinning and i totally lost it

  • "Hold this, we'll need more luck than I thought"... Gee, thanks for the positve influence lol

  • 2:45 scarier than the Undertaker XD

  • @PokemonDude1081 if they don't get a good husband they gonna get tombstoned

  • now add a CRICKET, just for LUCK, and even YOU can't blow it

  • Matchmaker: "Fa Mulan."

    Mulan: "Present!"

Matchmaker: *writes on clipboard* "Speaking out of term."

    Mulan: "Oh.."

  • I guess all that luck Mulan's grandma gave her turned out to be a double negative...or something like that : )

  • "And a great hairdo"

HAHAHA IT WAS HER HAIR STYLE

  • Ah, I remember wishing I had hair like Mulan's when I was little. :) Still do. lol

  • You have to love Lea Salonga XD

  • It's the nicest song about the devaluation of women's rights and social repression I've heard.

  • @EnglishGavz

lol Well this entire movie, Mulan fights sexism, so yeah. Your comment made me giggle btw. XD

  • @EnglishGavz LOL

  • No pressure though.... Yeah I'm 20 watching Disney clips movies suck now and days

  • Watching this even you not a kid anymore, i miss my chillhood :p

  • the fat matchmaker....lmao "fa mulan"

    mulan- "Present"

me- "oh shit run girl she gonna kill you"

    my reaction"dead as a mofo"

my action" muahahahaha oh shit too funny rofl"

  • this is soooo funny

  • This movie still brings tears to my eyes. When little it taught me that just because I am a girl it does not mean I cannot do what boys can do (since my dad would tell me that girls need to be pretty, not intelligent). As I got older it was not about gender roles, but who you are. It taught me that I should not do what others expect of me, but what I think is right. It also taught me not to give up just because others tell me to. No movie will ever replace Mulan in my heart.

  • @AliYume1 Mulan was not a movie to begin with, she was a historical figure.

  • @TaiGekTou agreed! :)

  • Yaaaa after i read Meiors of a Geisa this is actually really fucked up what they were trying to do........

  • "and even you cant blow it!" huh ya she can!!!

  • L ao awww love ittttt

  • uh, is the pendant supposed to go in her hoo-ha? because otherwise it seemed like it would just fall down her dress...

  • uh, thanks for the cricket grandma, but it kind of ruined everything...

  • ONLY SHIT 1:18 woman in green use "troll face" lol

  • The three dislikes are HUNS

  • 1:21

I see no wheels on that stool.

  • love this! still know all the words!! :D

  • ... pfft i don't know how you could have seen worse with your eyes closed just saying...

  • mulan is so pretty

  • 1:23 and a tiny waist... and they wonder why girls are so insecure now a days.

  • @SheldynBrianne lol I was thinking the same thing

  • "Bead of Jaaaaade for beauty...You must proudly show it....now add a cricket, just for luck"...."and even YOU cant blow it!"...that has got to be one of the most funniest grandmas ever!XD:)

  • @808cookiedough IKR! I specially love at the end of the movie:

Grandma: She brings back a sword. If you ask me, she should have brought back a man.

Shang: Uh, is Fa Mulan here?

*mom and grandma point behind them*

    Shang: Thank you.

Grandma: WOO! SIGN ME UP FOR THE NEXT WAR!

  • @monkeyboy409

Mulan: Would you like to stay for dinner?

Grandma: WOULD YOU LIKE TO STAY FOREVER?! LLLLLOL

  • @WeGotCimFVR lol I love that part too lol

  • @monkeyboy409 Mulan: "would you like to stay for dinner?'' Grandma: "would you like to stay forever?"

  • the old lady omg she is my fave

  • Mulan reminds me from Nani in Lilo and Stitch

  • man could you imagine if like was this :D

  • ok out of all those girls, mulan is obviusly the prettiest but of course she just has to get messed up by the cricket...

  • Who would date a girl with a painted white face?

  • IT WAS ALLLL THE CRICKETS FAULT!!!!

  • NOW ADD A CRICKET!

  • Who else is watching Disney clips even though they are not kids anymore?

  • @EkseteraEksetera you never outgrow disney songs or movies

  • @EkseteraEksetera dude, I'm almost twenty and I'm still a kid, lol.

  • @EpicStudiosUSA Stay young forever bro, lol

  • @EkseteraEksetera me, lol

  • I love 1:11 so much.

  • Hmm...Long haired Mulan looks pretty, Short haired Mulan Suits her personality better

  • i never want to go to china.... i will get raped by a grandma and forced to take a bath :3

  • When you are a little kid, you just watch this movie, and say, "Oh, see looks so pretty!" but then, when you grow up and watch this, you realize that all these girls are getting ready to impress a matchmaker that chooses who they spend their entire life with.

I wish Disney would actually make some more decent and deep movies, instead of all the stupid ones that are just money ploys.

  • Before the Matchmaker starts condescending to anyone, I'd like to see HER get a man. :P

  • She REALLY looked better before all that make-up too D:

  • 'Scarier than the Undertaker'

    Got to disagree there, ladies.

Undertaker's taken a scary turn in Black Butler manga. O.o

  • @RusCan10

lol nope. Kuroshitsuji's Undertaker might be scary.. but DAYUUM he's hot 83

  • IM HERE!!

  • 1:49 girl holding mirror.. totally Cantonese

  • did anyone notice the different noses of the women in the line? its disturbing

  • lol just noticing that the horse is legs are too skinny for his body

  • this just goes to show that eveyone looks better without make-up its really a great life lesson

  • this song is sooooo awsum :D

  • @dragonfire7654321 Remember, this was BEFORE she rebelled! ;)

  • if i were mulan, i would've done everything she did to that fat tester lady on purpose

  • 0:57

    "With good fortune-

    -And a great hairdo.

You'll bring honor to us all."

    2:37

    "Scarier than the undertaker

We are meeting our match maker!"

Shes worse than the undertaker? O.o

  • Historically incorrect moment: 0:39

No way did they have shampoo in ancient China!

This is awesome. I love Mulan!

  • @MrLittleMissAwesome1 Actually, people used oils and herbs in various concoctions back in the day. :)

  • "Even you cant blow it"

    ...gee... thanks grandma -.-

  • @girlovesbacon haha sounds like something my grandma would say to me, except "and hopefully even you cant blow it"

  • @Hechan93

You can never have too many Disney videos, anywhere :D

  • 1:18, woman in green goes behind mulan. then she's gooooonnneeee D:

  • @TheYousrah Nah, it was a trap door in the ground LOL

  • is it me or they all went to the same stores

  • this was like my favorite part of the movie c:

  • "Hold this, we're going to need more luck then i thought." umm thats not something i want to hear from my grandmother lol XD

  • today, mulan is a sucsessful docta cuz she brings us honor lol

  • Mulan is the best film in disney. I love china.

  • XD i love the grandma...AHA shes hilarious

  • :58

"...boys will gladly go to war for you...."

"...pfft f that shit ill go to war for my own dang self!"

  • @serenabanana

    Totally agree!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @serenabanana I'm not sure WHY you'd want to go to war. I'd be glad to ahve someone figth for me.

  • @magical11 Mulan went to war in the movie. Need I say more. . .

  • @RedSkyLights That doesn't explain why you'd want to go to war, wthin the context of self desire.

  • @magical11 She's referring to the movie -_-

They're on about how guys will go to war for her but in the movie, she goes to war instead of her father, by choice!

  • @RedSkyLights No...she's not...at least not correctly. Mulan never went to war for "herself". She did it for her father. If he had a son, do you think Mulan would be hucking it out there? Obviously not.

  • @magical11 Do you not get the fucking point of it?

Not every girl needs a guy to go fight for her. Not every girl is a "damsel in distress"

Girls, like Mulan, can fight for themselves. She went for her father but stayed for herself otherwise she would've left when Shang told her too! -_-

  • @RedSkyLights And you're missing my point. I'm arguing that although women don't need to be "protected", why would they not want to be? It's logically infinitely much better to have someone fight for you, than to risk your neck fighting yourself.

  • @magical11 meybe for you, but I preffer to risk my own throat that send somebody else

  • @vampiricita Thank you!

Plus, if you get someone to fight for you, wouldn't you blame yourself if they die?

  • @RedSkyLights yeah! girl power!

  • @serenabanana i know to hell with boys fighting my fights girl power and be a warrior not a dandelion i fight my own fights

  • @rpgarcia11 Well... The women ahve to give birth, the men have to go fight. Neither one is amazingly fun. You do what you have to do. But Sexism is around in the old world, yes, but this song isn't really sexist.

  • @rpgarcia11 Not sure what you mean. The sexes ARE different. The whole notion of sameness between genders is stupid. We are EQUAL. Not the same.

  • Hahaha sad part is this is true and its the same for guys in China, just different priorities

  • @Charms002

Um... you are blind. Mulan is gorgeous

  • wait if she is in china why is she dressed as a japanese geisha

  • @SouthIndianbb101 Stop trying to seem smart and make a point. -_-

China dressed like that, too. They were an adopting culture so they had many of the same cultural things as surrounding countries.

  • @CAlexandriaR1 im not seeming smart i am smart, tht was a real question becoz i did not know.....stop assuming evrybpdy is a smart ass.....

  • @SouthIndianbb101 Well going by your question, it sounded like you were complaining about Disney getting its cultures mixed up. If you really wanted to know, you would have googled it. You wouldn't have asked about her being in China dressed as a Geisha unless you already knew (or thought you knew) how chineese girls dressed. And if you did ask that genuinely cause you didn't know, why not google it?

  • @CAlexandriaR1 i just thought i wud ask becoz ppl answer and ask questions on youtube as well, its not tht big of a deal, if u didnt like my question you cud have ignored it yes? No harm done chill down beta

  • @CAlexandriaR1 I was going to ask the same thing :) Thank you for the answer!

  • @CAlexandriaR1 You have it backwards. China originaly dressed like this. Japan adopted this style and managed to retain it, whilst China lost it. Same as how England borrowed from France.

  • Congratulations Walt Disney Studios you've broken the world record for most uses of the word honor in a single musical number

  • "Now add a cricket, just for luck; and even YOU can't blow it!" ... Watch me! :D

  • best disney movie ever. i like that old lady with the cricket. lol

  • dang, mulan had LONG hair!

  • @Charms002 thats rasist and prejudise also she is not a princesses she is just a comman girl set in the Sui dynasty of china(581-618) witch standerd of beauty is diffrent then todays standerd and most disney movies witch are set in europe, the middle east and north america witch are mostly caucasian(white) not asian so you wont see anny blond red or brown hair girls with large breast's wearing barely annything in that time period, country, continent and culture

  • @tazz2070 and dont forget sexist

  • @tazz2070 you might want to rephrase that, MIDDLE EAST and north america which are mostly CAUCASIAN???? umm don't forget Arab and Black dude. ;)

  • @bh5496 your right with africans but arab's are caucasian look it up on the internet and when i saw disney movies from the 90's i did not remember many africans in them

  • dishonor on you! dishonor on your cow!!!!

  • they should remake this movie.. as 3d

  • Anyone notice, when the jade beads are put on, they're ontop of her collar, but after the second when the camora isn't looking at Mulan, their magically underneath without any hint to her having readjusted them.

  • I always thought that this scene out of this whole movie was the best because it showed all of Mulan's special qualities her cleverness, kindness, and love for her family.

  • EVERY TIME i watch this movie, when i see the cricket being giving to mulan for luck, i glare at the tv screen and say," damn cricket"...anyone else do that?...no?

  • mulan is the prettiest

  • Damnit Mulan what shampoo do you use?

  • "a girl can bring her family great honor in one way.." by saving all of China?! damn i have work to do

  • @multikoolio100 No, By showihng that she can do something even if shes a woman.

  • You have to love the "And even you can't blow it!" line.

  • LOL Classic, my favorite "princess " movie!

  • @AquaMarcella

Mulan wasn't a princess. They may have added her to the "Disney princesses" but she wasn't ever a REAL princess.

  • @AngelFluttershy767 Yeah, Disney likes to promote that every girl can be a princess even if she isn't genetically a princess. Which doesn't make any sense but hey the kids like it

  • @Iwuzhere321

Yah. It just gets on my nerves. >_< I love Mulan, but she was a warrior, not a princess.. not that being a princess is a bad thing, but she wasn't.. : P

  • @AngelFluttershy767 I understand. But kids movies and franchises aren't really supposed to make sense. Like Pocahantas isn't really a princess easier. Sometimes they even throw in Alice, Esmerelda and Tinkerbell for no real reason

  • @Iwuzhere321

I understand, but I just think that just because it's for kids doesn't mean they couldn't put more effort into it.. it feels like the old Disney stuff put more effort into it than the new Disney stuff, because the old stuff even adults could enjoy. : P

  • memories :3

  • Like the song

  • nice use of a screen to make it pg disney :)

  • >> I love mulan she actually did something awesome, not just wait for a man to save her.

  • her grandma kicks ass...

  • Don't you wish you looked like Mulan?

  • @Fallenkitty30

Um no, I'm happy with who I am. O_o

  • so many emotions arouse with this song

    love ittttttttttttt!

  • LOVE THIS MOVIE! it's my favorite...actuallyits tied with lion king lol. I love all the disney movies

  • I luv the way she sings "keep my father standing tall~"

  • Look on the bright side, Mulan. At least it was "A tiny waist" rather than tiny feet.

  • @teencomment Are you referencing chinese feet bonding?

  • 2:22 And even YOU can't blow it! Gee, thanks, Grandma.

  • I've had this song stuck in my head all day ^_^

  • the cricket ruined it

  • Damn I really do love Disney movies. ♥

  • Ok I love her voice! And I hate that matchmaker...she IS very scary!

  • anybody else think that mulan 2 is just dumb and not in keeping with mulan's personality at all?

  • Mulan- I'll bring us all honor.

The grandma- YOU BETTER LITTLE LADY!

  • I'm here! What? But Mama, I had to-

    None of your excuses.

    =]

  • one thing that I thought when I saw the lady 'ew'

  • I feel kinda racist in saying this but Mulan's mom looks like my asian English teacher Mrs.Wong xp

  • PFF The Undertaker XD

  • Lol! Oh yes, scarier than the Underaker... Wait... Undertaker = Kuroshitsuji :DDD xDD

  • good quality :)

  • all time favorite disney movie of all time, hands down

  • @rachylelisabeth thumbs up! XD Hehe

  • anybody else notice how freakishly long those girls necks are??

  • @1smilyjo11 you mean when they apply neck rings? do the chinese do that? i believe that they are more fond of foot binding.
