Great video! ive watched the videos of Danijel aka The Borg and the videos are the most interesting and entertaining paintball videos ive ever seen on internet! He had incredible skills and had a good sense of humor! I just found out of the news. Its good to see a man like you put out a video like this. It helped me alot! i do agree that people are douches for making fun of borg, its not right and i do agree that they need to show some common courtesy and respect... but like he said everyone has the right to an opinion so they can say whatever they want... nobodys opinion is correct cuz almost everyones is different!

Seriously fellow paintballers? I know I'm going to catch some major flak for this; but quite frankly any respect that Borg had gained in the community was lost the moment he took his own life. He could have been remembered as a great guy and a huge asset to the sport; but instead he's just a coward!
That was the only time that Borg was refernced by the anti-suicide argument.
When she said "Fuck Borg" it wasn't a slight against Borg; it was an attempt to reiterate that the argument ultimately had nothing to do with Borg other than him being a catalyst.
The issue-at-hand was that suicide is NOT a respectable option. He had it no worse than millions of other people on the planet. PLUS people like @LordOdin2008 were making suicide sound like the most respectable way out.

i am rarely sympathetic for those who commit suicide. the only people i feel bad for are the ones that are still living that loved them and he took away that part of their lives. by killing themselves they think they are better but in actuallity they just hurt those who are close to them. there is always another option...
@dyepaintballer27 Everybody has their breaking point, and sometimes things just cant be made better. Some things hurt more than you can ever imagine. The person who committed suicide is who i feel for most, because in order to take your own life, you must have been hurting really bad inside. Taking your life is not an easy thing or decision to make.
For the people that haven't experienced somebody close committing suicide, you don't know anything. People who finally bring themselves to that point are not thinking rationally, or hopefully. They are depressed, the only hope to ease the pain is death in their minds. Different people think different ways. Some people are stonger than others. To a normal person, yea, suicide is a selfish thing to do. But to a person who has reached their limits, to them atleast, it is the only thing they can do.
@Reignsmb Last I checked, the US Military fed their soldiers. With all of the support Borg was getting, he was still only able to eat 3-4 times a week, and was literally wasting away. On top of that, the closest thing to his, left him, and made him feel worthless among all his life stress. You don't know what starvation and that kind of lifestyle can do to the mind, or thought process. It's odd that someone who is willing to kill others, has such a problem with someone killing themself.
I cried.. I talked to borg every now and then and grew semi-close to him.
To anyone who thinks he is a coward: I respect your opinion but you don't have to spout it off to his friends, family, coworkers, and anyone who admired him.. If you did that in real life, people would probably manage to get a folding chair lodged in your skull..

Personally, I've been extremely close several times to doing the same thing. My family and friends had no clue; sometimes it feels like there's no way out and no opportunity for change. He made his choice for his own reasons and if this is the path he chose it is only humane to wish him well.

The thing about Suicide is that you dont wake up one morning and say hey! im going to kill myself! If he was contemplating suicide he may have been smiling on the outside but realistically he was extremely depressed and thought this was the answer. So to all his friends co-workers and family. Go over why you think he did it, at what point did he suggest/look being depressed. Maybe he was just generally unhappy. Just my 2 cents, no hate towards him or anyone associated with him.

not all of us knew him personally but knew him as inspiration. stumbling over vids of help and tricks on youtube isnt much but its in the best of gratitude of welcoming newer people to the game..
Here in Fort Mcmurray we had a moment of silence for our fallen comrade saturday. He got me in the sport and he will always be one of my paintball idols, he was just plain out awesome in his videos, he suspended himself from his home made sling to prove its strength thats dedication.
If they think that then what about all of our service members who have ended their own lives. They are in no way cowards they fought and killed for our nations freedoms. People have no right to judge until they have been in that person's shoes. Until you've looked into someone's eyes as they've lost their life you won't know the horrors that they've had to deal with. @1122aalleexx For over a year, he'd been struggling to live on barely any work. He tried to support his family also, as poverty is rampant in Croatia. Essentially he was eating 3-4 times a week, slept in the parking lot of his job in hopes that they'd give him work the next day, and would bike 30+ miles to his fiancee. When she left him, he lost the only thing really keeping him going.
Its not the right way out i will admit that but i loved borg in every possible i understand the circumstances and thatts what i probably would of done if i had to bycycle 13 miles everyday with little food with no were to stay and no relationship with my parents like stick to drum said your not in the right mind you have very little though process befor you do something it is tradgic i will always remember bor i will always miss him and he will always be with me on the field.

He could have been remembered as a great guy and a huge asset to the sport; but instead he's just a coward!
That was the only time that Borg was refernced by the anti-suicide argument.

A: Copy-cat suicides are a common occurence following the suicide of 'celebrities'
B: There were too many people going beyond just mourning the loss and damn near promoting suicide
C: If it weren't brought up no, nobody would even give enough of a damn to read it, much less give it the serious thought it deserves.

When she said "Fuck Borg" it wasn't a slight against Borg; it was an attempt to reiterate that the argument ultimately had nothing to do with Borg other than him being a catalyst.
The issue-at-hand was that suicide is NOT a respectable option. He had it no worse than millions of other people on the planet. PLUS people like @LordOdin2008 were making suicide sound like the most respectable way out.

i am rarely sympathetic for those who commit suicide. the only people i feel bad for are the ones that are still living that loved them and he took away that part of their lives. by killing themselves they think they are better but in actuallity they just hurt those who are close to them. there is always another option...

The person who committed suicide is who i feel for most, because in order to take your own life, you must have been hurting really bad inside. Taking your life is not an easy thing or decision to make.

For the people that haven't experienced somebody close committing suicide, you don't know anything. People who finally bring themselves to that point are not thinking rationally, or hopefully. They are depressed, the only hope to ease the pain is death in their minds. Different people think different ways. Some people are stonger than others. To a normal person, yea, suicide is a selfish thing to do. But to a person who has reached their limits, to them atleast, it is the only thing they can do.

@Reignsmb Last I checked, the US Military fed their soldiers. With all of the support Borg was getting, he was still only able to eat 3-4 times a week, and was literally wasting away. On top of that, the closest thing to his, left him, and made him feel worthless among all his life stress. You don't know what starvation and that kind of lifestyle can do to the mind, or thought process. It's odd that someone who is willing to kill others, has such a problem with someone killing themself.

Personally, I've been extremely close several times to doing the same thing. My family and friends had no clue; sometimes it feels like there's no way out and no opportunity for change. He made his choice for his own reasons and if this is the path he chose it is only humane to wish him well.

The thing about Suicide is that you dont wake up one morning and say hey! im going to kill myself! If he was contemplating suicide he may have been smiling on the outside but realistically he was extremely depressed and thought this was the answer. So to all his friends co-workers and family. Go over why you think he did it, at what point did he suggest/look being depressed. Maybe he was just generally unhappy. Just my 2 cents, no hate towards him or anyone associated with him.

I have lost a friend due to suicide before and have seen the effects first hand. it is a way to escape reality and just give up on life along with showing the people who cares and loves you that you do not feel the same about them. Anyone who kills themselves should not be given the benefit of the doubt, no situation is bad enough to kill yourself. Nothing in life is bad enough to kill yourself and I mean nothing.

@1122aalleexx For over a year, he'd been struggling to live on barely any work. He tried to support his family also, as poverty is rampant in Croatia. Essentially he was eating 3-4 times a week, slept in the parking lot of his job in hopes that they'd give him work the next day, and would bike 30+ miles to his fiancee. When she left him, he lost the only thing really keeping him going.

Its not the right way out i will admit that but i loved borg in every possible i understand the circumstances and thatts what i probably would of done if i had to bycycle 13 miles everyday with little food with no were to stay and no relationship with my parents like stick to drum said your not in the right mind you have very little though process befor you do something it is tradgic i will always remember bor i will always miss him and he will always be with me on the field.
