I'm not sure "THEY" made her voice sound like Brenda's.

I'm sure Kelly herself imitated Brenda's style as closely as possible.

Kelly is pretty good at doing that.

When she did the 40's song on AI she had that down very well too.

@KellyFan4Lyfe08 No problem. I'm a huge Kelly fan too. I wanted her to win American Idol very early on in the original season. She not only has a great voice, but is extremely expressive whenever she sings any song and fully commits herself to it.

Oh yes, it is Kelly's voice, no denying it! She did this performance on a show called American dreemz--saw the interview with her behind the scenes...She did a fantastic job..You can hear the difference between their voices.
