Hm... Let's see, you're fighting a black knight (I dunno if there's someone inside) whose arms come off which resorts to kicking you. I smell a bit of monty python on this one, and your user name doesn't help too.

This isn't the first boss :). I think the screaming wolf is the first one.

Well, yeah, but they're not quite as flashy as Richter's. They're still pretty useful, though.

The only problem is that they're only available when the weapon is at its highest level, which is only possible if you don't take a hit.

Well, that's not THE item crash of the game, you can do item crashes with all of the subweapons by pressing up + subweapon button. But yeah, the high-level exclusive subweapon is hard to keep. :\
