I love the way he sings 'The sight of midnight trains on empty stations', so I can feel those midnight trains, I travel by train to and from school and sometimes I walk home from the station in the dark, in the winter, and this gives me that feeling even in broad daylight in the summer ^^ it's so romantic! Thank you so much for uploading!
One of the most underated rated singers in America. Thanks to Clint Eastwood in the Bridges of Madison County for bringing Johnny Hartman to America's attention. He left the army in 1947 and began singing almost immediately, but unfortunately big bands were on their way our and Rock and Roll was on the way in. I had the pleasures of seeing him twice. He was absolutely masterful. He had a rare and maserful voice. When I listen to male jazz or pop vocalists today, they all sound alike
The consummate male vocalist, Johnny Hartman. A real man's voice singing tender love songs. How intimately he sings to each one of us. I love to sing ballads. They touch the heart and this song is one of the best.
we love this song-thanks for a great recording

Such a rare talent. Clint Eastwood certainly recognizes talent in a singer. He sings these songs so effortlessly. I could listen to him sing 24/7.
