why needed so much stuff? I did the same using a motorbike ignition coil, it takes signal from drive but i control it with a small circuit(arduino) so it can spark once or many times.

that stuff is cool for off road use. i am glad there are laws to protect innocent people from driving on the road with vehicles that have been rigged to explode by half-ass hacks. If you think this is a good idea for a street driven car, you should have your head examined. You could kill someone. Building safe a system is beyond your ability if you need a diagram of how to make a spark plug work or what kind of valves to use! You would feel bad if your car caught fire and exploded killing kids

can't you just run a stand alone coil, and basic switch??? thats what i've seen n am gonna do. the REAL question here is what kinda solonoid were u gonna use for the propane????? i've seen some GHETTO ideas (davesfarm) using a washer fill valve and a 110V invertor. but the only thing I can find that runs on 12V is a nitrous solonoid and at about $100 apiece their really not giving them away HIT ME BACK PLZ

so i take it the setup is traditional, cut the power to the ignition in the engine to blow gasoline out of the exhaust, then light it with the spark plugs? or does your engine throw enough fumes already that you just have to ignite them?

I never installed it onto my car. I was going to use propane to produce a flame.

i rev my truck to 5,000 rpm then hit the swith on mine but u got to have either straight pipes or just a muffler a cat wont work

It's a GM coil, Ford ignition module, RadioShack relay and a 2.2uf capacitor
