There are TONS of original ideas out there. Internet, iPod, netflix, MySpace, YouTube...all words that didn't exist when Cosby recorded his show. But they exist now...and they're waiting to be made fun of.

And while, yes, sometimes two (or more) comedians come up with a similar idea independent of each other...but Bill Cosby Himself was one of the most watched stand-up specials of all time. There is no way a dude with aspirations of comedy never saw that special.

I believe it's a tough business, but I can agree with you there.

In the end I feel that if someone has enough energy to call Mencia out (Joe Rogan, whom I respect a lot, he is a very funny guy) I think he should spend it making better jokes and not act defeated.
